This is the second nest thermostat in the house, and it works as advertised. Has saved money already.

I first bought this very cautiously, even though I mainly bought this to save me a few dollars on my monthly bill. What was skepticism turned into amazement quickly. It does take a little time to learn your schedule, but I haven't touched it in two weeks. One aspect that I feel isn't advertised as much is the ability to lock it with a 4 digit code, to keep people from changing it. Nonetheless, I am one very satisfied customer.

Saves Money on the electric bill and Worth the $250.00 price tag

The Nest thermostat is a great device to have and requires very little in terms of maintenance. The only issue I have with it is that it changes my setting to Away even when I have manually changed it to a preferred temperature. It also implements its own energy savings programming into the decision I've made which can get annoying. The energy savings report is the most beneficial because I can see where savings can happen, but its harder to achieve when in the middle of remodeling.

The Nest is a great thermostat and we love being able to change settings using our smart phones.

Easy to install and even easier to use. Now I just hope it saves me some money in the long run...

I love using the Nest iPhone app with my new Nest. It's good to know I can come home to a warm house on a cold and rainy day. Very easy to install and get running.

Had to restart it several times before it stayed connected to the internet. Can not find it to label it on the network. It works the same as any other thermostat that you can connect to the internet.

The Nest Thermostat is easy to install and is great to keep track of your energy usage.

I own two Nest thermostats and rented a place with a third one. I'm a huge fan. I can overly tech for its own good. The fact that it can easily discharge or that it can stop working if it loses its wi-fi connection is not ideal. But overall, the convenience is great. I'm a fan of the interface and it seems to provide a lot more control than my previous programmable thermostat.

Overall a good piece of technology. Very convenient and handy with schedule learning and network connectivity. Unless you are really trying to save some bucks modify the energy saving settings and TURN AWAY OFF. In Louisiana a trip out can leave you returning to a HOT house if you leave this thing in charge with energy savings and away mode on. It takes a while even for a properly sized system to perform a catchup cycle in 95-100 degree weather.
