We were hesitate to spend the money for the nest but decided it was worth it....We were right! It was easy to install and easy to use. I love the compatibility with my smart phone allowing me to change the temperature wherever I am.

I have had my nest for 2 months now and it knows when to cool or heat the house and knows how we like our house. The auto away is awesome. Great for saving money. It has a bunch of features and can be controlled any where in the world.

A contemporary looking thermostat that looks great on the wall and works terrific. The thermostat learns your heating cooling needs in about a week, no need to enter a program.

I installed the Nest myself, and I don't have any experience with that sort of thing. Support was helpful, and everything is working great! It's so nice to be able to set the thermostat from anywhere to save energy and money!

Nest is easy to install and easy to use. With the updated application, it is quite a lot easier to program and use as well. Nest provided great support with the initial install and concerns over the wiring. Highly recommended.

I have 3 nest thermostats and 3 nest protects and they work wonderfully as a system. Installation is straightforward and, if you have are comfortable with minor electrical work, downright easy. Nest is about the only wifi thermostat that works without a common wire. I've found that with a net gear nighthawk router, the thermostat will intermittently drop and reconnect. Didn't happen with the my older router.

The Nest was very easy to install, is very easy to use, connects seamlessly with the CO/smoke detector Nest sells, and looks great to boot! The feature that allows it to learn your heating/cooling habits is fantastic as well.

I installed it by going in the Internet and learning how to do it myself pretty easy to follow. It took me no time. Great product a little bit expensive. I am planing on getting a second one for my first floor. Great product

Many people are turned off by the high price of the Nest thermostat. Even I was initially. After talking to a few friends who had purchased one, I decided to try it. I have to say that I am very impressed. The thermostat is easy to use, very intelligent, and their customer service is the best I've ever dealt with. I had some issues when I installed it. I called on a Sunday evening around 6pm. I was quickly talking to a technician who clearly walked me though troubleshooting, and even stayed on the phone to ensure it was working properly after we addressed the issue. I definitely recommend this product!

Awesome product. Very well thought through by the designer. Easy to install. Good software. Works very good with the phone app. Provides lots of information on the house and energy consumption. Well worth the price.

I got a 1st gen Nest, which is now with my old roommate. For my new place I got this 2nd gen version and love it. Installation has definitely gotten easier with this version. The wiring section is significantly improved. For usability, I've always loved the Nest, and the companion apps are great. Easy to manage multiple ones- my parents now have two in their home in Miami which has two A/C zones, and will be adding one to their other home in West Palm Beach. They split time so it's important for them to have auto away and safe temperature settings like the Nest has. Already they are seeing a reduction in power consumption. I also love the AirWave feature which saves energy while cooling. An essential to any Connected home.

My old thermostat was an eyesore and a bear to program. When the small cover concealing the controls broke, that was enough for me to consider the stylish Nest. I purchased it in January but did not install it until June only because I was not sure if I wanted to pay for professional help. Besides the product being nice to look at and adding to the decor of a home, it is remarkably simple to install. There are instructional videos online to watch and in less than 30 minutes, you can ditch the old for the new. The hardest part of the installation is entering your Wi-Fi credentials. I highly recommend the Nest 2nd Generation, and there are apps for iPhone, Android, and Windows (third-party) devices.

The Nest V2 is awesome, easy to install, saves money on your bills, and makes you more conscious of how much money you're wasting keeping the place at a constant 75 degrees when you're gone all day.

Pleasantly surprised with Easy of installation without much programming required. Easy to learn apps, energy history gives nice usage summary. Overall very good and highly recommended in every home :)

I bought this to replace the Honeywell which was hard to install. The Nest is very easy to install for those without a C-wire. Energy savings works as described. Nice design and user friendly.

This thermostat is already working wonders in my new, 2-story / 1600 sqft townhouse. The installation was also simple for anyone who can follow directions. My one advice would be to BE CERTAIN of what type of HVAC system you have. The directions differ slightly depending on what system you have, but the Nest documentation, and particularly the website, help you stay covered in all scenarios.

This product looks great, and was easy to install. The pros about this product is it senses when you are not home and keeps the temperature at a acceptable temp for when there is no one home, but the con is when you are home at this learned times the temp stay a little to low for my comfort.

The Nest thermostat is the best. It consistently receives high/top reviews and I can see why. It is extremely easy to setup. The only information you need to have handy is your WiFi network key (if you were smart enough to secure your network). It does the rest! Using the thermostat is intuitive, you never have to look at instructions or figure out cryptic displays. Using the mobile app to control the thermostat or adjust the cooling/heating schedule is a breeze too (pun intended). I have two in my house. I highly recommend this device.

I got this for my boyfriend for his birthday, as he has been checking it out for the last year and is consistently adjusting his thermostat. He had zero issues installing it himself (and he is not the handyman type). He adjusts his thermostat before leaving work and his house is perfect when he arrives home. Now it has learned his timing and is adjusting on its own. His favorite part is being able to adjust the temperature without getting out of bed and going downstairs. My favorite part is listening to him rave about the gift I got him : ) I would highly recommend this product.

This is my second purchase of a nest thermostat for the house with two AC units. It is very easy to use and installing the units is quick and easy. Less than 20 minutes each.
