There are all sorts of tech gurus and nerds out there who can make these things do all sorts of amazing stuff far beyond my capacity. I use it for a variety of things like controlling lights, thermostats, and such, keeping up on calendars, notes for things I need to take care of later, and reminders to take care of those things when later arrives. Frankly, I am completely satisfied with it and supposedly, one of my tech nerdy friends is going to come over and show me how to get much more out of the thing. The only thing I do not care for is that it does not have the same level of free music as my Amazon Tap

My mom loves her Nest Mini. She uses it for weather reports, news and to play her favorite music.

Since my job transitioned into a hybrid office/WFH position, I needed to get one for my desk. This is a perfect size with just the right number of features. It is not a loudspeaker so don't expect to drop the bass on this unit, but if you need just enough background sound to break the silence, this is all you need.

Excellent Rich sound. The google assistant is capable of continuous microphone monitoring.

This is indispensable. I control indoor and outdoor lights with my voice. I can play music. It will "Google" questions and provide time and weather information. A splendid device. I can't imagine living without it.

Hoping to use it as a life alert kind of system. If she falls anywhere in house, she should be within shouting distance. These assistants can place calls via Duo.. So she can ring up her daughter in an emergency. But we phrased it like.. these are so useful and play music an stuff to soften the blow.

I bought 3 of those. It works pretty good. Google has done a great job on those speakers.

Use it just for music, sounds great for the size, and plays spotify which is why I got it.
