Love how small but loud these speakers are. They work great and so easy to use even the kids are able to ask google to play something on their own.

For the price it's great. Easy set up too. Don't use the speaker so can't comment on that.

I got this mini speaker initially to get it to work with my new security system (Vivint). While it can't pair with the Vivint system, I still like having it, especially because of the routines. When I say good morning, I can program it to give me the weather and the news, although I chose to turn the news feature off. When I'm ready for bed, I say good night and I can program it to give me tomorrow's weather, set an alarm, and give me a choice of ambient sounds to fall asleep to. While I was a bit disappointed with the fact that I couldn't use it with my security system (Vivint is aware of the issue), I still enjoy the features and I'm glad I bought it.

Very easy to setup, works good with Google Home and Nest app. Works well with Nest door bell. This is my 3rd set that I purchase

Simple, unintrusive personal assistant. Easy to set up, easy to use. Purchased as a part of a security system install. Doorbell alerts come through clearly, and audibly.

We love our little Google speaker. It’s very convenient to hang on wall. Decent speaker sound. Only thing bad is that I wish it was wireless and it didn’t have to stay plugged in. Would be great in the kids room as part of a Google home sound system.

Works great!! Recommend this to everyone. You just say hey Google! And then ask away. It will play any music you want,any song any band, answer any questions. Really cool!! Good price to.

You're only limited by your imagination (and Matter/Google's ecosystem, and software library maintenance, and the tech economy's hardware offerings). Anyways, the point is: yes, voice activation and automation for various things does improve your quality of life if you set it up properly. For me the biggest three things have been: Google Newsstand, Spotify, and voice-activated lights, and setting reminders for the next morning has been nice, too. That said, you can get all that with your phone using the Google Home and Google Assistant apps, so what's the big deal? Not fussing with your phone or keeping it in your pocket all the time, and having a nice enough speaker with no bass channel so you don't annoy your neighboring apartment or roommate. So, who should buy it? Anyone with a small amount of disposable income and 600+ sq ft residential area, and anyone with a smaller residential area who also wants an okay speaker but doesn't really know what to get and doesn't want to do a lot of research or pay more for a JBL. Bad things! Doesn't hold a conversation even with Gemini, doesn't work with Audible because of Amazon being a doof about Echo/Alexa, and you will have to train yourself to make use of it and commit to giving it a task once a day at first just so that you don't forget about it for months or longer.

We had a homepod mini, ans we loved that but we wanted a smart thermostat and we really liked the nest one, ao we bought this to go with it and let me tell you we love the google assistant she is more intelligent than siri and we can still listen to our music with apple music. Also the google home app is much easier to use than the apple home app

Great speaker. It packs a big punch for its small size. Makes a great addition for multi-speaker listening with other Google Home products. Great for a kitchen or office

These 2nd gen mini's sound great for the size, we hide them all over the house for background music. Even better bargain when they go on sale but still worth the msrp. Best to get two for each room and then pair them into stereo mode. For the larger rooms we run the Max speakers, those sound amazing! Mini's are also great for bathrooms and back porch's, they sound good and are inexpensive enough that if they get damaged from moisture or from being outdoors its not a huge loss. Haven't had one go bad yet though. Be sure to go into your home app settings and pump up the bass and treble to remove the flatness.

Easy to set up. Have multiple set up around the house and connected to Nest doorbell as chimes. Better than the Alexa system.

This is my first device of this type. For a long time, I didn't really understand the purpose of them. Until I started using my Android phone to setup voice reminders and then I realized I could use it to also turn on and off the few smart plugs I had. Once I figured that out, I ordered one of these for myself and one for my mom. She's getting older so I'm planning to deck her house out in smart plugs for Christmas. This will be much easier for her to use than having her have to unlock her phone to activate Google Assistant through that.

The voice control setup feature does get a bit confusing, however - I first used my voice to set it up and then my spouse used theirs to set it up on their phone. What we both didn't know was that it ended up confusing the system and we had to reset the thing to factory settings to restart the setup process. The device is fine on its own, but Google needs to come up with a better setup process. The Google Home app used for it especially is unnecessarily awkward the first time. Once you figure it out, it really does come in handy for remote voice-controlled tasks such as adjusting room lights, controlling TV applications, and also giving the weather. The nest is certainly good for its price despite some initial hiccups.

I absolutely love my google, it’s such a life changer, i use it for weather, sleeping, asking questions and playing games when im bored. love the app and the ability to change so many things, it’s small and sleek looking, matches a lot of aesthetics and fits in every space, also love the fact that you can hang it on the wall too!

I have the Google - Nest Mini (2nd Generation) with Google Assistant. It works well. The set up was fairly simple and it recognizes my voice, now if I can only get the kids to use it...

So much to offer in this little device. Come in handy when you want go go hands-free from your phone. Great volume and getting tons of info out of it is very helpful.
