My husband is in a wheelchair. I bought this so if something happened he could call for help. He says it works as good as any high price speaker would and likes the speaker reach in volume for music as well and the sound is great. I like all of these for safety rather than trying to find that darn button on a neckless or wristband to push a button for help. With the Google Nest Mesh system all you have to do is say "hey google call 911" or call out for someone at home in another area, or all areas (broadcast), to come and assist him, or me, or anyone who may need help. We are happy and will buy again. The Google Nest Mesh system not only make life easier for a senior citizen with the assistant to purchase items, pay bills, or talk with others, etc etc, but most of all it makes us feel safer with immediate response to our voice calling for help and getting that help to us.

Purchased the Google Nest-Mini Smart Speaker to add coverage to another room (in addition to the five we already have)...this was for the master bathroom. Flush wall mounted it, hiding all wires in the mounting unit to keep it away from water as well as avoiding counter clutter. As with our other Google Assistants, this speaker worked flawlessly and is networked with all of the other speakers in the house.

Works exactly how your phone's google assistant would work, except it looks prettier and sits in a place connected to your power outlet at all times. I don't have any other smart device so I can't really tell how to use the device properly with other google home devices but in itself google nest mini is quite useful and the sound quality is definitely brilliant.

Love being able to ask google any question I want while I’m in the kitchen.. usually cooking. Can also connect your light bulbs to this making everything accessible through voice. For a busy mom/student this comes in handy when we have questions on just about anything.. the broadcast feature is a plus; basically a cheap version of a home talking system

Good sound quality for what it is. Good voice recognition and easy setup. I do not like that Google stopped putting auxiliary out jacks soni can plug it into a receiver. Being stuck to this little speaker made me return it

I really like this little smart speaker. Suitable for the bedroom where high music valume is not necessary. I love that it can be tucked out of the way while still listening to music and the versatility and gamut of features it provide. I can use Spotify directly via voice control, use my android phone to navegate through the songs, play music on others speakers (via Bluetooth), etc.

Small enough to for in areas without making it an eye sore. I bought 2 for my kids so they can listen to music and podcasts while doing homework and during free time.

Easy to setup and integrate into already existing home network and pair with Google Home Hub using the Google Home app on your phone. Device is small enough to go unnoticed in a room. Good mic, device is roughly 15' away from my desk an I can activate it using a normal tone voice. Sound from the device is crystal clear. Google has done a great job with the AI speech recognition and can under stand anyone who speaks to it.

I got the first generation Mini as a gift. I liked it so much, I bought the new one. Only noticeable difference so far is that the new one has a hole in the back that facilitates hanging on a wall. Sound is excellent and the connectivity and utility is unmatched. I can get music, weather, politics (ok, maybe that's a drawback), timer, set my thermostat, etc. It even translates phrases into a foreign language. Everyone should have one.
