We have one in almost every room of our house. It's quite helpful to get quick answers to questions or to request that it play music.

Keep your expectations reasonable and you'll be thrilled with this little guy. We bought a handful of these to keep around the house . . . in each bedroom, in the office, in each bathroom . . . With no expectations for room filling sound, we love these and are actually quite surprised at the sound quality. The sound actually compares quite similarly to the 7" Nest Hub which surprised us given the difference in size. Granted, we don't use these for blasting music throughout the house. We use these mini's as background music in the mornings as we wake, as sleepy-time music at night while reading in bed, music in the bathroom while getting ready . . . For our use and situations, they are absolutely great. Set up is quick and easy. As with the larger Nest Hubs, you have more control over volume control using the app rather than just tapping to raise or lower volume. This isn't all that important for general daytime use, but at night we leave the music playing as background to fall asleep to, so we want a bit more control to set the volume level just right. Side note is that I love that you can ask the music to play for a set amount of time so you can truly fall asleep to it.

This Google Nest Mini was wonderful in helping my mother who was losing her eyesight. She could ask questions, listen to to music, etc. It was easy to set up, and easy to use. Even better, I bought it on an excellent sale price for her.

I absolutely love my google minis, i initially had one in the kitchen which worked great but then bought one for each room so i wouldn't have to open the home app or yell to activate a command. An essential for any smart-home set-up

This product is exactly what my daughter wanted. When I first purchased a Google Nest Mini for the family room, my kids fell in love with it. They could ask it questions or have it play music that they loved. Eventually, it became more than my wife and I could handle, so we decided to get them Minis for each of their rooms. My daughter really wanted a blue one, and it just so happened that Best Buy had one in stock, when no one else did. It is very easy to use. My toddlers can use it and are currently trying to learn Spanish from it. It also seamless interconnects to my other Home devices, so that is a plus. No more yelling through the house, when I can just broadcast. Great product for smart home users.

The secong gen minis sound much better than the first gen. I have two of these, as well as a first gen, and a Hub and Hub Max. They all work great. I control everything with voice commands, from my lights, to my home theater, to my Roomba. At first I was against smart speakers, now I'm trying to turn the lights on in the garage and a work with my voice.
