The assistant works goods and answers questions. It is plenty loud and has clear sound. My biggest complaint is that commercials show that you can tell google to play a song and it will. What they don't tell you is that you have to pay an extra monthly subscription fee to do so. You can even use your playlists that you already have on Youtube Music or Spotify without paying extra. Really diminshed its value and I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it.

Since I love my Google Nest Mini so much, I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend because I wanted them to experience how awesome having a Google Nest Mini in your home is. As I expected...they love 'talking to Google"!

This was on sale and we wanted to compare it to the apple home mini. It has the same sound quality and we love it! We took back the apple home mini and bought another google home mini for another room in the house as well!

I gave my mother a pair for the living room nightstands. They work great! The sound is clear and they put out a good amount of volume. Make sure to adjust mic sensitivity in the home app.

The google mini has a great sound and was very easy to set up.

Works well, use it to listen to podcasts, control lights and weather. (Yes, you can control the weather!).....(I know it probably listens to everything..... don't care right now......if you are worried about that, then get rid of your phone and don't look things up on the internet)

We have one in almost every room of our house. It's quite helpful to get quick answers to questions or to request that it play music.

The set up is so easy. Download google home and add device. I bought two. One in the livingroom and One in the bedroom. You can set it up to simultaneously play the same thing. Surround sound. The only thing I wish I can change is drop the hey when I’m telling my nest a command.

These speakers are great, can integrate with your whole Google Home environment and easily create a cheap multi zone speaker setup. Sound quality is good for the size of it. The only thing I wish is that it used a normal USB plug so I could plug it into a battery and use it wirelessly.

We purchased this to provide a verbal assistant around the home for a blind elderly parent. She is very easily able to ask for updates on weather and the units announce when people are at the front door (in conjunction with her video doorbell.) It also picks up voices extremely well, even from a relatively long distance away, 10-15 feet.

These are sprinkled throughout my home where the larger speakers don't make sense. Guests all loved how they fill the house with music wherever they happen to be since they're all part of a single group synced to play Spotify. The second gen sounds much better than the first (most noticeably in the bass response).

Does what it's supposed to. I'm mainly using it to control my Google Home connected smart devices and it does a good job of picking up my voice even when im in another room. Just this and my Nest Wifi access point are enough for me to have voice control coverage in my entire house.

I use this to control my lights in basement, it always understands my commands and I don't have to yell either.
