I use this more than I thought I would. It is very intuitive. The sound is decent for a small speaker but if you are looking for better sound then I would get the bigger version. It connects with my wifi lights, Nest alarm, etc.

These are great speakers that are perfect when on sale. I put one in each room for local music and Google Assistant. The best feature is message broadcasting making it a simple PA system. Very easy to set up and operate.

If you only need too train to Google Assistant and NOT listen to music then this is perfect for you. It can even hear me when I whisper!

I still like the deep sound emanating from the original small tower Google Homes, but the second generation mini is getting close to it in sound quality. Happy with the look of the charcol, too, as it fits better into rooms with darker decor.

I got this to put on my bedroom to go along with my Google Home hub. Can change thermostat from it an make sure my doors are locked . Recently found I can also ask it to play calming sounds (Ocean waves, Rain) to fall asleep too!

I love it. The sound quality is terrific. Sharp and clear. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone who is looking for a good product. I can get it to turn off my lights for me and it follows my commands.

I use this for EVERYTHING!!! Gives me the time, the weather (daily forecast) and to wake me up in the am. I don't know what I would do without it.

I have both the Google Mini and Echo Dots in my house. Sound quality and function are very similar. The Google Mini does a better job of answering those questions "that have been bugging you all day." I prefer the Echo Dot for linking to Amazon music and such. If you want a smart home device for questions though, the Google is the way to go.

It was easy to set up and easy to use. It has great sound. I have on in almost every room.

This is my (5th) Mini, and I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys talking to open air, or saying thank you to a mini computer. Either way, it nice and convenient to have Google turn on a light when your hands a tied up with groceries.

This is a convenient little device to ask questions to, set alarms, and play music. The sound quality is decent enough for such a small device. I have the 1st generation as well and don't really notice a difference.

I wasn't going to bother switching from my first gen home minis, but these were on sale when I bought them and they're fantastic. The speaker is louder with better bass and higher sound quality. An upgrade all around.

I love this Nest Mini for simply letting me listen to music, set timers when cooking, and asking about the weather. Google Assistant is better than Alexa or Siri from my experience. For the price, it is a no brainer.

Its design is modest and neutral, and one of the few smart home gadgets that can effectively disappear on a shelf or kitchen counter like a colorful knick-knack. Primarily, it’s a smart speaker, so it will play music and podcasts, set timers and alarms, read the news or information from the web, provide a rundown of your day’s schedule and appointments, give you traffic updates and even tell you the weather forecasts, all with voice control. You link your Google Account and voice to your speaker and it will recognize your voice. I’ll get up in the morning and say, “Hey, Google, Good Morning, and “she” answers, “Good Morning, Donna,” then tells me the temperature, traffic update, the latest news, and then plays music, all while I’m getting ready for my day. You can make phone calls, send texts, and even check your emails, all with your voice. One of my favorite things I did was to set it up so at 9 pm daily, “she” comes on and announces my husband’s nickname from me and tells him, “I Love You,” from the nickname he calls me, then it plays our song. (Kinda sickening, I know.) It’s just fun to have. I say, “Hey Google, tell me my reminders, and “she” does. It’s wonderful for cooking because when you place something in the oven all you have to do it say, “Hey, Google, set timer for 20 minutes” and it’s done. We have it hooked up to Spotify and we are always requesting our favorite songs to play or request our playlist to play. Also, it’s set up to our video doorbell so we can answer our door through the Nest. We are in the process of buying a Chromecast so we can cast the video doorbell to our TV. There is so much more I’m not even touching, but this review would be so much longer. If you want a powerful, fast, and attractive smart speaker for an affordable price, you won’t be disappointed with the Nest Mini.

Playing games with this speaker is great. You could hear everything. Especially when playing RDR2. Also get this when its on sale. I bought two.
