We love our mini speakers. I got one for every room. My kids love having one in their rooms. I love that I can listen to my Spotify in the kitchen when I’m cooking and the music sounds really good! It is a powerful little speaker. We can also send a broadcast message to any speaker in the house! My daughter loves this feature. She’s always sending me messages! Works really well with google! I also bought smart lights and I can turn them on or off from the speaker as well! I can also control my ecobee and Sony tv. For the price you can’t beat it!

A great way to have your parents be is to buy them a set for the home. These nest mini are not only very affordable, they play radio music very well! Since 2018, I've been slowly adding smart home speakers throughout the home and these are the final addition: in my parents office and bedroom! Now that Google is just a keyphrase away, I can now "broadcast" whenever dinner is ready throughout the home! Its the little things that let you live your life without shouting that make these devices worth it. Easy setup, and even easier to live with.

We have multiple Google Home devices and needed a mini in one of the areas of the house that wasn't covered well by the bigger Google Home devices. For the money paid, it's a very decent unit with good enough sound quality if you use it for music. It's very easy to use and set up and we like using the "broadcast" function with multiple units around the house so you can talk to other family members of call the kids to dinner, etc.

This is a great upgrade from the original google mini. WAY better sound, WAY better responsiveness, easy to use, and a great price point!

Extra helper can't live without. Extremely convenient in asking questions in everyday life. In the kitchen translating measurements a cinch. Having a conversation and have a question that Google do it for you! Okay great! This should have you moving in the right direction

I wanted a small smart speaker. I didn't need a screen for photos, etc. The sound quality is very good for the kitchen where I use it. I use it primarily to play music. A bonus is I can ask it questions while I'm cooking like "what is tomorrow's weather". I can also ask "what song is this" while a song is playing and it will tell me the name of the song and artist. It has a small plug footprint which I appreciate. The plug shares the outlet and does not take over the space of the neighboring item. I gave it four stars because it is a bit temperamental when it comes to playing my Sirius XM channels. It appears to require exact syntax. I'm still learning how to use it though, so maybe I'm part of the problem. I may buy another one if it goes on sale again. The chalk color blends right in on my counter top microwave.

It is pretty cool to use. Not only can I play music or get information with this smart speaker, but also I can use it to control lamps using TP-link Kasa smart plugs with my voice. You need to load the Google home app on your cell phone to set up the sytem. I have a smart tv with Google on it so I can control that with my voice too. With the tv sometimes the command has to be repeated. I don't know why except it appears Google doesn't understand me all the time.

I purchased this using rewards points as a budget-friendly start into the smart home using Google Assistant. I love the features. I use it to power on and off the television, play music, morning alarm clock, get weather updates and agenda items from my calendar as well as other options. Speaker is excellent especially considering the small, compact size. Setup was fairly fast and easy. I plan to add more of them to other rooms and eventually a Home Hub once I have a camera or video doorbell added to the system. I highly recommend it and will purchase it again.

This is my second smart speaker in the house. We already have a Google Home Mini, but have always wanted one in the master bedroom to use as an alarm, play music and to control the smart home devices we have in the house. When this went on sale, the price and value was worth it. The Next Mini sound quality is definitely better than what we had and the setup was much more simple than I remember. It became integrated within minutes. Highly recommend this for anyone interested in an affordable high quality smart speaker.

Awesome product. Picked up a few of these during Black Friday sales along with a couple Nest Audio full size speakers to place around my house. I use the YouTube Music app to play music on them individually or in preset groups I've assigned. Super easy set up, sound great for the size/cost, and have Google Assistant which can be handy. Nothing beats having tunes going through your whole house - this is a easy and AFFORDABLE way to do it!

This is my first Google Assistant device and not my last. I was originally looking for a speaker for my small home office, but decided to get a speaker with an assistant. The speaker itself is quite powerful for what I need (music, podcasts, mindfulness, etc...), but the assistant has been fun to play with. I'm always imagined asking someone to set an alarm, set up my calendar, etc..and this device does exactly that, and more. I'm hoping to connect it to my light dimmers and other devices in the future. I'm not giving a full 5 stars since I have run into some issues with it disconnecting or logging out every so often. It's easy to overcome by rebooting or setting up again, but it's quite annoying. Google should be able to do better.

Early on we were given an Amazon Alexa as a gift. Now I have these all over the house. The problem is when I took one to work there is a distinct inability to completely disconnect the work one from the house ones unless I get a different account. This is a problem when somebody makes an announcement for example. Caught this on deal that they also, bought it on a whim. I replace the Alexa at my office and I absolutely love this Google device. Having used both I would say I actually think I might like this better. And it was far less expensive.

I like the Nest MIni because it is small enough to hang on the wall and not be too distracting. Volume is perfect for kitchen, and I can hear it low or loud enough to listen to music while doing dishes.

This is an excellent speaker for such a small device. It is responsive to our voices and is so handy to be able to play music and ask questions hands-free. Google, in m opinion, has the best AI, and that is coming from an iPhone user. It just seems to understand more than Siri or Alexa in my experience. Also, it links up quite easily with Spotify and any other apps you use. It only took about 5-10 minutes to set up. Definitely worth the price, especially when Best Buy has their half off sales!

Let me start by saying that this may be the first review that I’ve ever done. I gifted this to my 78 year old mother who is not gadget literate at all. I plugged it in, downloaded the Google Home app on her cell phone and the device prompts you the rest of the way! It connects to your home WiFi. The Google mini literally responds to most any request, within reason, that you ask. She loves it! Music, searches, YouTube, Pandora, ETA, traffic, recipes, etc. Did you know that the Google mini will call any number in your phone contacts upon request? Yes! I would just recommend setting up voice recognition and or making sure that it is in a private setting to maximize security. This way, Google recognizes your voice. This is an awesome little gadget. So affordable especially around the holidays. I have them in nearly every room and I have the Google Hub and newly the smart clock! The Hub allows you to see your request on screen. All the items are awesome. Truthfully, I do own 1 Alexa but I own 6 minis and 1 of the first google homes, which is the larger one and two hubs or displays. Trust me, there is a reason for the imbalance. Two years ago I gifted all my family members minis because they are so affordable and they didn’t believe what it could do. I forgot to mention another awesome feature. If I can’t get my mother on the phone, I can record a message from my phone to broadcast over her mini, at her house (small setup)! Awesome, I know! I have never done a review and no this is not paid lol. I just really enjoy the product and maybe I’ll be back after I receive my smart plugs which will work towards making my simple home smart. I just want to say that I live in a regular house and live a regular life. At Christmas the minis are usually bundled with something and you get them free or less than $25. This year, the mini was free with a tv that I purchased from BestBuy around Black Friday. My sister’s mini this year was bundled with a purchase that she made. So I do have several minis but they are absolutely affordable! Hope this helps. 4.99999 out of 5 only because if you don’t want it to sit flat on the table, it won’t sit up right because it’s round. You have to purchase a mount which is only $5 bucks. The new one I got this year had a mount included in the package.

Good smart speaker. I have the Nest Audio prior to purchasing this mini. The sound of Nest Mini is almost the same as the Nest Audio. I dont have a big house, I wish i could just have bought 2 mini's instead of the nest audio. also, the nest audio is hard to store because of its size unlike the minis, you can put it almost anywhere

So, now I have gotten hooked on the whole "smart home' concept and this is my third Nest product. I was reluctant to startup with any "smart" technology because I thought it would require a lot of time (installing) and learning, but nothing could be further from the truth. It has simple setup and understands almost every thing you say or ask of it. We now have one in every room and I am starting to add items for it to control ( TV, lights, etc.). Love it!

My old roommate had a few of these strategically positioned around the house, so when I moved in to my own place I HAD to invest in some. The sound quality and volume is impressive for the size and price of these Nest Minis. I primarily use these to play music, but I'm planning on linking them up to some smart plugs I recently bought. Even for someone who isn't super tech-inclined, these are super easy to set up. Just be sure to download the Google Home app to make the most out of these bad boys.

Love my google minis! Sound is great especially for such a small speaker! Easy to set up, and love being able to connect all my smart devices together. I have 3 so far, and hopefully will add more minis for each room eventually!
