The audio is much better that the first generation and the response is much better. Google assistant are great devices. If you are bore try the next thing. My complaint is the volume. On 2 of the 3 i purchased the volume is either too high or too low. I have tried adjusting it in the google home app and while it does help its still not great. Other than that love these things.

If you haven't tried yet, resetting Nest Mini may be helpful. This will erase all data and you may need to set it up again. To reset Nest Mini, check on the side of your device, switch the mic off. The lights will turn orange. Press and hold the center of the Nest Mini, where the lights are on top. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.

Was concerned of the flak these devices get about privacy. Hooked it up and after a few hours. Added another one for my bedroom. Activates lights, tv, etc. (Smart plug not included)

Changed the charging cable, added a screw hook wall mount and additional LED light indicators on screen mesh.

Like the interaction with other devices. Will be expanding the system as it develops. Need a smart heated mattress pad, if Google is reading this.

She loves it.

They work ok with ourcm door bell. Sound is thin, as expected, but loud enough. Will not be listening to music on these things.

Meanwhile, you can try adjusting the volume of your Nest speaker that may improve your experience, either by voice, by touch, or from the Google Home App. You can also change the audio settings of your in the Google Home app following the steps below:
- Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Nest speaker.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap the device you want to adjust, select Settings, select Audio, then select Equalizer.
- Adjust Bass and Treble level.
