A little (a lot?) creepy, I've theoretically got it locked down in terms of constant listening (off) however my Google suggestions seems to 'magically' have to do with things I've discussed and not typed or entered into a computer.

There could be a possibility that this is due to your activity control settings which you may have turned on when you set up Google Assistant before. If you have Web & App Activity turned on, your interactions with your Google Assistant may be saved in your Google Account and shown in your My Activity page. You can turn these settings on or off at any time. Using the Home App, you can check the history of Google Assistant activity. You can also view details on specific activities, or delete them from your history. Your Google Assistant can still help you do things like find answers on the web and local info, play media, set reminders, and more. Depending on which setting(s) you choose not to turn on, your Google Assistant may be less personalized for you. Like the interaction with other devices. Will be expanding the system as it develops. Need a smart heated mattress pad, if Google is reading this.

My complaint is the volume. On 2 of the 3 i purchased the volume is either too high or too low. I have tried adjusting it in the google home app and while it does help its still not great. Other than that love these things.

If you haven't tried yet, resetting Nest Mini may be helpful. This will erase all data and you may need to set it up again. To reset Nest Mini, check on the side of your device, switch the mic off. The lights will turn orange. Press and hold the center of the Nest Mini, where the lights are on top. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.

She loves it.

Changed the charging cable, added a screw hook wall mount and additional LED light indicators on screen mesh.

Although I like them a lot, I think I prefer my google home mini so far. The fabric look is a lot more aesthetically pleasing, and I find the responses a little more intuitive and intelligent.
