It is slightly faster than the previous version, but not amazingly so. Not a total waste of money, but I'm glad we didn't pay full price.

I had them for a bit over a year without any issues until recently. The microphone has a bit of trouble hearing your voice so for the home to hear it you have to talk loudly but overall it’s pretty good

We'd recommend that you retrain the Nest Mini to better recognize your voice. We also suggest adjusting the Hotword sensitivity as it may also be helpful with the issue. You may follow the steps below:
Retrain Voice Match:
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
- Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.
Change Nest Mini's Hotword sensitivity:
- Open your Google Home app.
- Select your Nest Mini.
- At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon.
- Then tap Audio.
- Then tap "Hey Google" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Mini more responsive to the hotword.

I don’t like that I have to say hey google or ok google , for me it’s to long buy the value it gives for its price is good
