Different devices respond than the one you talk to, scheduled announcements play or not, Google help don’t seem to know why. They play music okay?

If multiple devices are responding to your commands, we recommend checking if you have an updated Google app version. Also, make sure that all of your devices are connected on the same account, and on the same Wi-Fi network.
Resetting your Nest Mini may be helpful to refresh the system. This will erase all data and you may need to set it up again. To reset, switch the mic off located on the side of your device. The lights will turn orange. Press and hold the center of the Nest Mini, where the lights are on top. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.

Works well, understands speech patterns and is very responsive. The transfer from google music to youtube is a bit of a pain as it drives the commercials a bit more but you can tie in a spotify or sirius xm account to eliminate that. Pair it up with a chromecast for some fun features as well. I would of liked a bit better volume control...the digital dots tends to confuse alot of people and saying "hey google volume 7" and then "volume 6" to adjust is just slightly annoying.

It’s like having a Janet (from the show “The Good Place”). You can customize morning and evening settings lights on with the alarm and ally play the daily news when you wake up, etc. The google mini was only $30! Like a tank of gas and it’s an amazing invention. Strongly recommend.
