Seems to be a little "dumber" that the first generations. I know this sounds silly, as I suspect all Mini units connect to what is essentially the same server, but it's like it does not hear me and reports what it thought I said. I have tried updated voice model match, no help.

Posted .Hi Thomas, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry that your Nest Mini experience has been less than ideal. You can try adjusting how sensitive your Nest Mini is to the hotword and retraining it to better recognize your voice. See the steps below on how to do this:
Retrain Voice Match
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
- Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.
Change Nest Mini's hotword sensitivity
- Open your Google Home app
- Select your Nest Mini
- At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon
- Then tap Audio.
- Then tap ""Hey Google"" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Mini more responsive to the hotword.
