It is the second Nest she has, the first one was first gen though. I guess she liked the first gen enough that she had me buy her another one for upstairs. My Dad also likes it, enough that he asked about getting Youtube Music for $10 a month, so I think that Google's plan of selling the Nest for cheap and then getting money from a constant subscription (or rundle) is panning out.
