I have one in each toom of the house and when im cleaning its nice to have music playing in every room on low instead of blasting from my living room speaker! Voice command isnt the best sometimes but works with turning on my compatible lights and tv.

It always inspires us when our customers, like you, enjoy our Google Nest products. However, we do apologize if the Voice Command feature hasn't given you the best experience so far.
Adjusting your Nest Mini's mic sensitivity and retraining it to better recognize your voice can be helpful with the issue. Check out the steps below:
Retrain Voice Match:
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
- Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.
We also recommend changing Nest Mini's hotword sensitivity:
- Open your Google Home app.
- Select your Nest Mini.
- At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon.
- Then tap Audio.
- Then tap "Hey Google" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Mini more responsive to the hotword.

Nest Mini is a Google Assistant enabled speaker that connects to your Wi-Fi with internet access. It can be set up using the Google Home app and can be installed in a compatible Android/iOS mobile device. With just your voice, you can use it as a speaker to listen to your favorite songs, playlists, albums, artists, and podcasts from your linked music services. You can also cast from your Android or iOS device through Google Cast from a cast-enabled music app or pair it with your phone via Bluetooth to use it as a speaker.
Aside from using it as a speaker, you can use Nest Mini to manage everyday tasks, and ask Google things you want to know. Use it for calling, access your calendar events, set an alarm, control your compatible smart home devices and many more.

But Google Assistant is terrible. Just asking simple questions is almost a shouting match. It’s the same with other speakers. I ask a question, no response. I ask again, same. I ask a third time, 2 second delay, question answered. If you need a voice controlled speaker, skip Google, and get an Echo instead.

It was a great purchase and always will recommend these over the home mini even at full price. I also love the wall mount feature more than I thought I would. I paired 2 together and have a mini surround sound setup near my bed on a wall mount. It is fantastic!
