    Difficult to set up, and it looses connection to the internet easily and often. I got this speaker as a gift when purchasing a tv. I am not using it at the moment. It was annoying to hear the message about the connection. It can be useful to ask the weather or the time when I’m in bed. Basic speaker.

      Thanks for your review. Sorry to hear about the difficulty with setting up your Nest Mini. We know it can be annoying to have a device that doesn't function.

      Connection issues may be caused by several factors such as Wi-Fi network congestion, distance of the device from the router, wireless interference with other Wi-Fi hotspots or devices nearby, and outdated router firmware.

      You may try restarting both your Wi-Fi router and Nest Mini to refresh their connection.
      To restart Nest Mini, unplug the power cord from your Nest Mini for a minute then plug it back in.
      To restart your Wi-Fi router, unplug the router from the power outlet, wait at least 60 seconds before plugging it back in. If still unresolved, we suggest performing a factory data reset on it to make sure it's cleared then set it up.

      To factory data reset your Nest Mini:
      - At the side of Nest Mini, switch the mic off. The LED lights will turn orange.
      - Press and hold the top center of the Nest Mini, where the LED lights show.
      - After five seconds, the device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 more seconds until you hear a sound that confirms that the factory reset started.

    well they are no longer Google but I'm ok with it i do enjoy these items because you can have a big surround system around the house connected

    This mini replaced another mini that randomly turned on and started playing a radio channel on Tune In. This one does the same thing! Not what I expected. A pain!

    Excellent!!! This little assistant connects with my smart light bulbs and works flawlessly!!! A must have if you are in the Google ecosystem!!!

    Absolutely love these things! Have one in just about every room in the house including my shop. Very handy to have. Does so many things.

      We recommend performing some troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. You can restart the Nest Mini and Wi-Fi router to refresh the connection. Unplug the power cable from Nest Mini and Wi-Fi router and leave them unplugged for at least a minute. Then, reconnect the devices and wait for them to boot up.

      If rebooting the Nest Mini and Wi-Fi router doesn't fix the issue, we suggest performing a factory reset on the Nest Mini device then set up.

    I love how the item works google does what I want it to do and I did order it for next day and it said delayed but it did come the next day

      Hi Shuck, thanks for contacting our support team. We´re sorry to hear about the negative experience you are having with the connectivity and video recording issue on Nest Cam (Battery).

      We recommend checking for possible congestion in your Wi-Fi network. Removing some of your connected devices can help free up some bandwidth space. You may then check to see if you will still experience the same connectivity issue.

      Video recording can be triggered by motion detection on Nest Cam (Battery). These can also be affected by changes in the light level, and shadows moving across the frame like when a cloud moves in front of the sun. This also includes other movements within the camera's field of view like trees or bushes swaying. If you're not getting any alerts or notifications, we recommend trying out the steps below:
      1. Change the Activity Zones on your camera. You can delete your existing Activity Zone and create a new one in any area within your camera's field of view. Just make sure that none of the zones you create overlap.
      2. Change the angle of your camera and account for the lighting in the surrounding area.
      3. Restart your Camera.

    Its nice that it came free with the Nest otherwise I would have retuned this in the first week. I have to literally say "hey google..." twice before it performs the command. too much work, but it was free so I'm not going to complain to much.

    There was one legt on the shelves. No store help in sight. The firmware on my original nest could not be updated. Good price though.

    I have a couple of these hubs around my home that are connected to my nest. The system works well together. I would recommend and especially at the sale price.

    This is the second one of these I have purchased... The first generation worked great for a couple years, now the microphone is having glitches... But for $25 I decided to replace it
