Bricked in less than two months

I admit I got this Nest Mini free when I purchased a TV from Best Buy. I set it up and played around with it a bit. After several weeks, it decided to magically disconnect from my Google account. I unsuccessfully tried to reconnect, then resorted to removing power for a few minutes and plugging back in. The device is now bricked - no lights, no response at all. I tried a factory reset - lights, no response. I look online and see I am not the only one with this problem. Not happy, but I guess I got what I paid for. Certainly not likely to purchase another Google product.

If you haven't tried already, we recommend plugging your Nest Mini into another power outlet. You can perform a factory reset to see if it turns on by following the steps below: - Press and hold the factory reset button located below the power cord on the bottom of Home Mini. - Look for a circle etched into the base. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. - Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more until you hear a sound confirming the device is resetting.
