    MY home entertainment system mainly is using Alexa system, Google does not work with my TV stick. Returned the product, will reconsider at later time..

    Got on sale for $50. Cool smart home hub. Speaker is not good. Scream gets dim at night witch works well in my bedroom.

    I bought this to put in the garage. It sounds great in a closed area but the sound does not carry in large areas like a backyard.

      Hi patrick, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. You can still improve the sound quality of your Nest Mini by adjusting its Bass and Treble in the Equalizer settings on the Home app. Please follow the step by step guide here:

      - Open the Google Home app.
      - Tap your Nest Audio and then Settings.
      - Then Audio and then Equalizer.
      - Adjust Bass and Treble level to your preference.

    Not the greatest sound. Responds to every TV commercial that says "hey Google" which is a problem. Had the speaker turn lights on without asking. Needs some serious refinement.

      We appreciate your feedback on Nest Mini. We apologize for the voice recognition issue you´re having with the Google Assistant for Nest Mini.

      We recommend adjusting how often Google Assistant responds to your voice commands with the “Hey Google” sensitivity setting to improve and avoid false responses. This setting lets you choose how sensitive your device is to phrases that sound like “Hey Google” or “Ok Google.”
      - Open the Google Home app.
      - At the bottom, tap Home.
      - Select your Nest Mini.
      - At the top right, tap Device Settings and then “Hey Google” sensitivity.
      - Choose how sensitive you want Google Assistant to be when it responds to you.
      - To change this setting on another device, tap Adjust more devices.

    Used it to connect to my wireless doorbell camera and works just fine. Wish it was a bit louder though but at least it gets the job done

    Should be called Google Ghost, instead of Nest.

    Has a mind of its own. Had it for a year and it works when it wants to. Half the time, it picks up a convo and butts in, scaring the hell out of me and whoever else is talking.

      Hi there,

      Oh no! We can only imagine the discomfort you may have had after having such an experience with your Nest Mini. There can be a couple of reasons that may cause your Nest Mini to trigger and randomly activate. We recommend trying some steps below that may be helpful:
      - Make sure your Nest Mini is located where the touch surface is not in contact with anything. For example a curtain, wires or cables, or a dog’s wagging tail.
      - You may also check My Activity log to verify what your Nest Mini last heard. Open the Google Home app. > At the top right, tap your account. > Tap My Activity.
      - Reboot Nest Mini by disconnecting the power cable. Leave it unplugged for approximately one minute. Reconnect power cable back into your Nest Mini​.
      - Lastly, perform a factory reset on our Nest Mini. At the side of the Google Nest Mini, switch the mic off. The LED lights will turn orange. Press and hold the top center of the Nest Mini, where the LED lights show. After five seconds, the device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more until they hear a sound that confirms that the factory reset started.

    Purchase a few of these devices for home and work use. Use it to assist when my hands are tied up. Alarm Clark, morning news and setting reminders throughout the day and a week from now.

    When it works it's ok. However the unit I received constantly drops connection with the Google Home app. Have to constantly unplug to reset it. Moving over to the Alexa device.

      Connectivity issues between your Nest Mini and Google Home app can be caused by several reasons such as outdated Google Home app and router firmware, location and distance of your Google Home Mini, mobile phone and Wi-Fi router. It may also be influenced by Wi-Fi network congestion and Wi-Fi interference with other devices and/or networks.
