I can turn them on, turn them off, brighten, and dim the lights! This is great for when I have my hands full! It can also play music, check the weather, set reminders, has up to date traffic, schedule, news, make phone calls, ask questions, and get answers! Hey Google! I am impressed!

It is the most troubled device on the market today. It keeps disconnecting from bluetooth like 10's of times per day. The bigger problem is that it does't reconnect automatically and so far no fix. I updated the driver, disconnected and reconnected, removed the device and reinstalled, restored it back to factory settings and reinstalled. Used winds fix bluetooth issues, turning computers on and off. Visited a wide range of websites. Watched so many videos on YouTube that Google made more money from advertising than what the device is worth. No Solution. Now my questions to Google and particularly to its CEO Mr. Sundar Pichai . Are you going to fix these problems?. Does Google know about these problems and intentionally does not intend to fix them?. If so can you please not be as kind as you are in fixing these problems and tell us why? Best regards and the millions who own these devices are waiting for an answer.

None of my other devices...just my nest. (I bought 3 of them and all three have the same issues) 2) the customization is better than Alexa but still WAY behind where I thought we’d be. I bought them to make things easier for me at home...it’s brought more annoyance than help. I would wait until Google gets their stuff together on this one.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.To start, I own 3 Google Mini, one Hub, and one hub max, as well as the Nest Mini. All the original "Google" devices work fine, as well as my Nest Hub max, but this Nest Mini is useless. It answers basic questions fine, but has lost the ability to control specific things from music apps I use like Pandora and Youtube Music. The worst problem is connectivity. This device resets itself over night, with varying frequency. Sometimes it will go a month or more without issues, or like this week, it has reset 4 times in 5 days. Not only that, but now once it resets, it won't complete setup fully until I unplug and replug. I know it's not an issue with my internet, or home setup, since it's only this device that is having issues. I've reached out to CS multiple times and they ignored my reset issues and tried to diagnose why it wouldn't set up properly. Now I've just resorted to sending them messages every time the device resets. Even though I am an Android user and enjoy the Google services, if I had to do this all over again, I would have gone with Amazon's services.

I got two to use as a speaker pair in my kitchen. Unfortunately they constantly drop the internet connection and stop playing music. My old Home Mini and all my other Google speakers and Chromecasts (etc) never have issues.

Connection issues may be caused by several reasons such as Wi-Fi network congestion, distance of the device from the router, wireless interference with other Wi-Fi hotspots or devices nearby and outdated router firmware.
If you haven't already, we suggest restarting your Wi-Fi router. Unplug the router from the power outlet, wait at least 60 seconds before plugging it back in. If your Nest Mini is the only device that disconnects from Wi-Fi, we suggest performing a factory reset on it to make sure it's cleared then set it up.
