I've been an Alexa user for many years, but now that I have been adding smart devices to my home I tried Google Home. I found Google Home to work well with my needs and decided to get the nest mini. Set up was easy with the Google Home app. The Google Assistant works well controlling my smart devices. The smart speaker sounds good, I like using the sleep timer at night so I can play some music or soothing sounds to fall asleep. I've not experienced the assistant starting on it's own like the Echo would do without saying the wake word.

I was honestly a bit skeptical of these initially. I had gotten one for free with another purchase and have loved it since. I now got two more to set up in my bedroom as well as in my lower level. I love that they can connect to play music together. I can run my vacuum, set a timer, reminder, change music, all without needing to grab my phone each time. It's a life saver for when I'm cooking or cleaning. Definitely worth it!

product works as advertised. Easy to set up and has pretty decent sound for a small speaker. Not a lot of bass but still sounds decent.

I love my google nest mini ( 2nd gen ) I've gifted three of them since owning mine. Great for listening to music, getting weather and news. This amazing little speaker does a lot.

This a great speaker, the size is small but does a great job. You can comunícate beetwen speakers under same house and WiFi, play music, read stories, play news, this is very handy, love it!

Unless you really want to listen to music, these are just as good as the larger units. They're small and unobtrusive, pretty cheap, and really easy to set up. Note: the current version's biggest change is they use a barrel plug instead of micro USB. Pickup range for sound is pretty decent; you don't have to be right up next to it.

Easy set up, programmable and practical. Mini provides good sound and is discreet. Great value!

very easy to use either with smart devices or just the voice. Can understand commands in multiple language (we have it set for english and spanish). Speaker is much improved in terms of bass and clarity from the first generation speaker. The notch for hanging on a wall is a wonderful feature, we have one in our small kitchen and it makes cooking so much easier (just ask for a timer or two or four!) and fun!

Took a sec to get use to the controls but I love this things. Works great and is an amazing addition to a google environment. Sound quality is surprisingly good. Highly recommend.

We added these to our growing Nest smart home and couldn't be happier. These replaced Alexa dots and we like them a whole lot more. Google seems more intuitive and the sound quality is quite good for such a small speaker. They are great to place around the house and stream music throughout. One on the bathroom counter is great to work as a shower radio that you can control with you voice.

User friendly. Easy to set-up. You can use it to set timer for baking then, you can ask how much is left on the timer. You can listen to music & jokes as well. I have been giving this as gifts.

Greeat value if you can get it at a good price from best buy. It connects so seamless with spotify. It is also amazing for controlling my smart home. It not too loud though. Its just barely loud enough. I never wish it wnet any higher than max volume but i do turn it up to max occasionally.

This is my first Nest Mini and this little gadget has a powerful little speaker. I've had Nest before they were bought out by Google. I was already pleased with their product. It's small, functional and the main reason for purchase was because of my Nest Hello doorbell. Every time someone rings the doorbell, the Nest Mini makes an announcement.

I paired this with another Nest Mini 2nd Gen speaker in our small apartment. What a pleasant surprise! Not only is the audio quality good, but stereo separation was also very good. The only problem was when I tried to connect to a wi-fi extender. That didn't work out. But once we got past that, it was smooth sailing. Love these speakers for music listening!

Perfect for playing music, getting the weather or just asking a question. It's great for kitchens bathrooms and other spaces and very easy to set up. For the price it's so worth it highly recommended! Great because it's different than the Echo it's actually smarter in my opinion and you can connect your phone to it as well.
