Small and cute. I love that it plugs in so I don’t have to charge it. I mostly just use it to play music but have started asking about the weather, setting timers, etc. Works well for all these things. It also has surprisingly good sound quality for such a small device.

Got this to begin my smart home upgrades and I am very pleased. I will be adding more in my mancave to help control LED lighting, sound, and TV. Easy to setup and flawless operation. Works with my Nest thermostat and doorbell as well as my Sonos Arc.

I got this for free when buying Christmas gifts and it is great! I was able to completely remove the stereo system in my room for this little circle while being able to talk to it and ask questions. 10/10 recommend!! It is great for your bedroom or kitchen. Nice clear sound and gets pretty loud.

The Nest Mini (2nd Generation) with Google Assistant in Charcoal has quickly become an essential part of my daily life. This compact smart speaker delivers an impressive range of features and functionalities that continue to amaze me. Firstly, the sound quality is surprisingly impressive for such a small device. The Nest Mini produces clear and crisp audio, allowing me to enjoy my favorite music, podcasts, and audiobooks with great clarity. Whether I'm playing soft background music or pumping up the volume, the audio performance never disappoints.

We love the nest mini. It was very easy to setup. We love that you can ask it anything and it will give you a reply. We set it up in our living room and the music is clear and loud enough to be heard in the kitchen. Highly recommended.

This 2nd Gen speaker sounds noticably better than the previous gen. However I do have to reset the device every 3-5 months due to weird connectivity issues.

I initially purchased Lenovo Smartclocks with Google Assistant built-in, so much of my opinion/experience will stem from that. Before that, I didn't have any Google smart products. Aside from the ability to look at a screen to receive information like the time/date or song playing, this is much better quality than 3rd party Google products. The sound quality is much better than that of my Amazon Dot's and the Lenovo smart clocks. Also, my experience with 3rd party Google products (Lenovo Smart clocks), they don't sync well with your existing services. For example, Google allows you to play music from your Apple Music subscription. On this device, it works great and as expected. On my Lenovo smart clock, which is a 3rd party Google product, it gives an error when attempting to use Apple, it has never worked at all. I mention that because after that experience with Google made products and those from 3rd party, I would recommend if you plan to build your smart home and create a digital environment in your home and would like to incorporate Google Assistant, it may be best to stick with products officially made/support by Google. This small speaker is good, its not the best sound ever, but its good for an office and quality is good. The microphone picks up my voice well even when playing music. This has peeked my interest in a nest hub.

Once you learn how to operate it using the app is perfect. I don't recommend traveling through multiple WiFis with it because it seems to get confused. Overall my 12y/o loves it and it is it really clear music for is size.

I purchased an Alexa device prior to this one but was unimpressed by its capabilities. The Google assistant definitely has been better for my regular use and the speakers have better sound quality. Overall, this device has a very clean and seamless performance.

We use the mini nest for our children. With it they can call important contacts (mom, dad, etc). They also use it to listen to music and set their own alarma for school. The best feature is the timer (although simple) it helps them take turns when playing video games, watching tv, playing, reading or working on spanish. They set their timers and have become more independent. Another great use is the vast info it has. The kids ask it questions about animals (they have it set to give them daily animal facts), jokes, science and math.

We have the Nest Mesh system for wifi and have added 3 of these Minis and 2 additional access points for better coverage across the house and add more music spots. Super easy to setup and start using!

We bought this as a Christmas present for our daughter. It works superbly. The sound quality for playing music is exceptional, and the Google assistant functions work seamlessly with our devices. The price was great, since it was on sale before the holidays.

I like the fact that I can be lazy and just have google turn off my lights so I don't have to get up from bed! Playing music is a pretty nice feature as well. Having it synced up with another one makes it prettt darn loud.

Love how this has allowed me to automate more thing around my house. This is my 2nd Nest Mini. Easy to setup and very easy to use. So many different apps you can connect to Google Home. I can even turn on my Xbox with this.

We love the Nest Mini 2nd gen. We have 7 in our apartment. Generally when they go on sale we've been ordering additional ones. Also plan on giving them as gifts. We integrate with Philips Hue, and other home automation devices. plus casting with different audio players is fantastic as it eliminates any latency you experience with bluetooth. Arguing with the Google assistant can be fun too. We gave her a British accent. One of the deciding factors for choosing it over the other popular brand, is that it has access to the Google search engine data base, which "Mr.IFlyAPhallusIntoSpaceToEatSkittles's" speaker does not. Am now considering upgrading to the WiFi Mesh version to boost the wifi coverage in our apartment. If there was any criticism it would be sometimes we wish it was a little louder.
