I have several Google Home Minis and I enjoy them as a supplement to bigger speakers. I have the larger Google Homes in the main rooms in my house and have these smaller ones in rooms I don’t spend as much time but still want Assistant connectivity. Sound quality is not great, hence the 4 stars (mix with better speakers in nearby rooms and you won’t notice). Volume is surprisingly loud, and I love the ability to wall-mount with a single screw/nail.

If you have been waiting to upgrade your 1st generation Google Home Mini, then don't delay. If you are like me, you have quite a few Google Nest/Home products in your house. I decided to go with the the Nest Mini (actually purchased two so I could use the new stereo mode in a room) and couldn't be happier. Good thing about it is, you can all find another room to put your older 1st gen devices in to flesh out your whole home sound. The sound is night and day better. Is it Bose quality? No, but bass is much better than the original Google Home Mini 1st Generation. I still wish they would just use standard USB-C power ports on these units, and the power supply is different than the first gen units, but this is a minor complaint. Top notch, Google!

I wanted a new Google Mini so I can put it on my wall and this delivers. It is louder than the previous version (awesome, since I am hearing impaired) and it is easy to install on the wall. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants one.

It’s greatttttt but one problem I do have is it randomly disconnects a lot but outside of that the sound quality is great and reallyyyyy does its job.

Nice little speaker with some added benefits. Works seamlessly with the c by ge app. I have a few bulbs and switches hooked up to it. Nice to use when listening to music and can't reach your phone to skip a song.

Just received to use as a digital chime for my Nest Hello doorbell. Super easy setup, great sound, and perfectly integrates with our doorbell. Overall, great buy for a great value.

This is my second Nest Mini. I had been given one originally for a gift 5 years ago. I pretty much use it every day for one thing or another. Just yelling out "whats the temperature" or "what time does a certain store close". These little gadgets are so handy and I know I am NOT using it to its full potential. Just setting little timers when I dont have my phone with me or a alarm to make sure I really dont oversleep. They come in multiple neutral colors to blend in with your home decor. Cost was $25 , normally $50. Its a small, and pretty much fits anywhere. Adjustable volume etc. Everything is controlled from Google home and google assistant.

Love easy to setup and great to listen music or the weather

Having owned the 1st Gen Assistant, we decided to add another to our home. The nice thing about these is linking them together to have seamless music throughout the house. We have 3 minis and 2 Nest Hubs in our home to create a seamless experience throughout the house (2500 sq. ft.). One of my favorite features is the glass breakage detection from the microphones on these. We pay for the Nest subscription that allows for this and it gives us piece of mind while we are gone. I hope like heck that we don't have to find it was needed, however. The sound is rich and fills the rooms, and we would recommend these to anyone.

I originally got a Google Home Mini for free about two years ago, and after moving into a home with two floors I decided to get another one. I went with the Nest after viewing the differences between the Nest and the Mini (they are minor), and I have been satisfied. It operates the same as and looks almost identical to the Mini, but its audio quality is slightly improved, and it has a hole on the back for wall mounting. It is also built with more sustainable materials (yay!). Setup was straightforward, and I have yet to encounter any issues with this device. If you are looking for a music speaker, this is not the best. I still use a separate speaker for music, and I bought this strictly for the assistant functionality.

I've used Google products for quite a few years now and thought this would be a great addition for the house. Setup was fairly easy. Looks nice, sounds nice. Really cool features. Downside, my wife and I have separate Google accounts so the Google mini doesn't really deferintaites which account to pull up even though we have our own settings. Tried restarting the process over and we had the same issues. Even with retrained voice recognition we had the same issue. For example, my wife couldn't find her phone and asked Google to find it. My phone started ringing even though I was 20 miles away, at work. Tried adding chromecast and our home security to be controlled through the Google nest mini and everytime it says it cannot find them. Even though they're added on our Google home app. Would recommend to a Google tech, not you're average user with multiple Google devices in a household.

The Google Mini is a great way to catch the news, hear the latest updates on things around the world or information about your favorite entertainer. The mini is clear and seems to learn pretty fast the information most commonly asked. I really like how it connects to the lights and makes for a great alarm. Really a good purchase without a doubt. :)

The nest mini is awesome. It's small and compact but dosen't mean it's not packed with features. The sound streaming music for its size is awesome. The speaker can hear me from the other room and has a great variety of music streaming services support [minus 2 key obvious competitors]. The mini hears me more reliablely than Amazon Echo Show. Echo often can't figure out want I'm asking where the Google Nest mini will come up with relevant info. Making phone calls from the mini is a breeze once you follow the 1 time setup in the Google Home app. People never question what I say on phone calls made through the Google Nest Mini... The same can not be said for for my bigger more expensive Echo Show... People always ask me to repeat stuff on calls made via the Echo.

I use it with the Google Nest, they sound great together. Nest Mini doesn’t have the bass like the Google Nest but together great sound. And useful throughout the house or office

Very convenient and easy to setup for those on the Google platform. We choose a couple of these smaller Nest Mini speakers rather than the larger speakers as these are our primary audio/music speakers in the home. The are relatively cheap and super convenient for all of the Google Home/Assistant tasks that make life a little easier such as turning on lights, getting an announcement when someone is at the Nest Doorbell cam, asking for the weather or latest news, asking if the garage door is closed or not, etc. I'm still finding products and devices around the house that I can integrate with Google Home. If you want a loud speaker for high quality music this won't be the thing you want. It does a decent job and could be good for a small bedroom, but the primary benefits to this Mini are it's size, value (very cheap when on sale) and convenience. You put them almost anywhere and even mount them on a wall (there's screw/nail hole on the back of the unit for easy hanging).

Device works well. Ok for music. Great for accessing google home commands and broadcasting throughout the house (with multiple units). I really like getting the weather and having it turn off my smart lights at night.

The Nest Mini is fun to use and interact with. The sound is clear and loud enough when playing music. It is also easy to set up, just follow the instructions in the included manual.

This speaker may be small but it puts out a BIG sound. I have Google Smart Speakers in every room in my house so I can enjoy my music through the house, especially during my quite "Me Time", they sound great when you group them together. I have the mini's in my bathrooms and the larger ones in the bedroom, living room and Den and the Large Smart Displays in the Kitchen/Dining room and the small display in my bedroom all speakers grouped together in the Google Home App to play music throughout the house.
