Google is my favorite assistant and I am an iPhone user. So take what ever I say with a grain of salt. But, this speaker is great for just tossing around the house. I actually think I am going to put it in the bathroom.

Adjust bass and treble level:
- Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Nest Mini.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap the device you want to adjust and then Settings and then Audio and then Equalizer.
- Adjust Bass and Treble level.

Concerned about its durability. Google sent me a free one of these about a year and a half ago and it just stopped working, so I picked this one up while it was on sale for $25. I wouldn't spend any more than that.

If you create a group you can then listen to the same music thru all the Google’s in your house.

We already have Google home so we put it in our bedroom. Very versatile. Ask for an alarm...music....the weather forecast.. you name it, Google will help.

Occasionally the mini does not seem to understand our requests and we have to start all over again. I suppose we just have to make our requests more clear.

I had them for a bit over a year without any issues until recently. The microphone has a bit of trouble hearing your voice so for the home to hear it you have to talk loudly but overall it’s pretty good

We'd recommend that you retrain the Nest Mini to better recognize your voice. We also suggest adjusting the Hotword sensitivity as it may also be helpful with the issue. You may follow the steps below:
Retrain Voice Match:
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
- Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.
Change Nest Mini's Hotword sensitivity:
- Open your Google Home app.
- Select your Nest Mini.
- At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon.
- Then tap Audio.
- Then tap "Hey Google" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Mini more responsive to the hotword.
