It has a better speaker than the clock but with 10% adjustment the sound is pretty good. Setup with google home app pairing was simple and fast.

The only thing it’s that it has to be connected to the wall can’t move it around! Another thing is you have to say “Hey google “ to work NOT Google cause it won’t work!

You can find compatible 3rd party wall mount accessories with some of our partner online resellers. And for the best experience when giving Nest Mini voice commands, we recommend retraining it with the Voice Match feature:
Retrain Voice Match:
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Assistant settings and then Voice Match.
- Tap Teach your Assistant your voice again and then Retrain.
You may also want to adjust Nest Mini's hotword sensitivity:
- Open your Google Home app.
- Select your Nest Mini.
- At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon.
- Then tap Audio.
- Then tap "Hey Google" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Mini more responsive to the hotword.

My son suggested we try the Nest Mini and see how they work. We've been using them for few weeks now and haven't had any issues with them. The sound is clear and loud. We're happy with our purchase so far.
