Pricey for a smoke detector that has an app. Does the job.

great purchase.i have Nest thermostat and also installed the Nest smoke detector.

Works good sometimes but Go's offline quite a bit.

looks nice seems to work fine but hope not to use it

Great product, easy set up and I love the fact that it is all in one.

I really like being able to check on things via the nest app and that the nest protect links to my nest thermostat. Only three stars due to numerous false alarms, but fortunately they have been far less frequent over the past 6 months or so.

Replaced the smoke detectors in my apartment with the Nest Carbon Monoxide Alarm. The standard smoke detectors in my apartment did not detect Carbon Monoxide, just smoke and I'm next door to the boiler room of an older apartment. I also like the fact that I will get an alert via email if it detects something, great for when I'm traveling!

Despite the recall issues, have had no issues with the detector itself. Setup was very easy to follow and discovered by my router with ease.

We love nest products. They communicate to our phones very well and keep you informed of anything happening at home while you are away.

I have a nest thermostat and 3 smoke / CO detectors, and can check on the status of all of them on my phone. Verbal commands, motion sensing night light, doesn't freak out every time you burn toast, awesome.

Amazingly simple to install and fancy features on this smoke alarm with added carbon monoxide detector. Love the safety features and the added light that displays when walking around in the dark at night. Plan to buy more for my house.

It's made by nest. Need I say more. The fact that you can monitor smoke and Carbon Monoxide via network is great. I hope they build a shut off valve say to the gas range in the future that's also connected to the network.

Nest is simply among. It pairs with other devices such as DropCam, and your smart phones so that you can get alerts when there is smoke, fire, etc. it's worth the cost and a truly great product.

One of the best smoke detectors you can buy. So I bought 2 Iam also going to buy 2 more. Knowing you can go to bed with a peaceful mind

I bought 5 of these for my entire house and it's so cool how they all communicate with each other and my Nest thermostat! Will never go back to the old fashion smoke detectors!

Very easy to set up. I love the "night light" that appears when you walk near it at night. Works great with my nest thermostat.

These are great , I have one on every floor in my house. They are the best detectors on the market. I sleep well knowing they have got my back.
