This Nest Protect is so cool!!! It was really easy to install.

It's a lovely object, so far as these things go, and its expressive center lighting and voice directions offer a lot more than the standard series of beeps: alerting you to emergencies, low batteries and even lighting your way at night. The button-based hush can save your eardrums and the smartphone alerts may well save some lives.

I replaced my Honeywell some detector for this one. Very happy with it.

The best feature of this Nest Protect is it acts as a remote sensor for my thermostat. It is located in a central place and has greatly improved the auto away feature of my nest thermostat.

I believe this is the 21st century and we need to update some items in our home. A thermostat and fire alarm are key. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next!

Had a detector that went out so got this guy as a replacement. Have a nest so they make a good pair. Would only really recommend if NEED to get a new detector. It does all it says, connects and communicates easy, app is nicely consolidated, night light could be a bit brighter though.

The Nest sensor is a cost effective way to monitor the CO/smoke. It can distinguish from steam coming from showers and smoke.

This device is amazing, and works flawlessly. very east to setup, and test. i wish everything was this easy to setup!

I had an issue where the alarm was going off randomly Nest sent me a replacement unit at no cost. Be sure to use compressed air at least 2x a year to blow off dust from the sensors.

I have 2 Nest Thermostats. And the addition of 6 Nest Protects. Gives me the piece of mind and safety that I need since I know my home will be protected.

Works well when paired with nest thermostat. It does the auto away detection an turn on the heat when I am back.

OK product but every three or five days this product goes offline. I noticed if I lower the firewall security it activates which I shouldn't be doing that but it's the only way this device detect the internet again and goes online. I probably need to direct this device to another router with lower security, but that shouldn't be an option to make this work normal. A little disappointed.

The next protect is great. Love the voice aspect of the product and works with the Nest.

Works awesome. can check on the house while at work. would highly recommend!

I initially liked the features but the false alarms killed it for me. I had invested $240 in what appears to be a beta product. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone who likes uninterrupted sleep.
