bit pricey, but works really well, easy to set up

I have not had any issues with signal and range. As most people have said prior with the reviews I’ve read, it’s not as customizable as other systems. This network is pretty much set and forget. I would say the biggest downside is that there is only one Ethernet port available, which requires you to add a switch to the base station if you have a NAS and additional smart device hubs like I have. Otherwise, it was definitely worth the purchase.

Started having trouble with the hub that directly connects to the modem. I have to have my office door open where the hub and modem is for the other hubs throughout the house to gain a really good connection. It used to not be that way. I don't know if there was a firmware update that happened or the hub is being wonky, but it gets annoying when my signal decreases. I would still recommend the hubs but make sure that the hubs have a good line of sight with the hub that connects to the modem.

Wi-Fi signal coverage may be affected by different factors and we recommend trying out some tips below to improve your connection.
- As a general rule, points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it part way in that direction. Try to place it in an elevated position like on a shelf.
- Building materials and other objects located between your Nest Wifi Points and mobile devices may slow your connection. If possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your primary and secondary Points.
- There could be signal interference due to traffic on your Wi-Fi network, on your neighbors' Wi-Fi networks, or from other sources like microwaves or baby monitors.

While I think it was great at doing its job, I did notice some minor dips in latency and speed from time to time, as is expected with a mesh system. I opted to set myself up with wired access points (Unifi), and couldn't be happier with it. Nest WiFi, however, is dead simple, I noticed no dropped connections, and the wireless backhaul is first-class. There is also a setting to prioritize Stadia, which I used. Ironically, Unifi does not have a setting like that but has an even more stable connection and faster speeds with Stadia.
