Reliable connection between Nest Wifi Routers can be affected by a few things: the size of your home, distance between routers and possible sources of interference. Here are some recommended steps you may want to try out to improve connectivity between your Nest Wifi Routers:
As a general rule, points work best when they’re about 2 to 3 rooms apart. As an example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it halfway in that direction.
Try to place it in an elevated position, like on a shelf. Nest Wifi Routers work best when they can see each other with a clear line of sight.
Barriers like heavy furniture and walls made of thick concrete or brick can affect Wi-Fi performance. With additional points, it'll be easier to strategically place them in a way that avoids obstructions.
If you have a house that spans more than one floor, we recommend adding an additional Wi-Fi point to create a strong mesh throughout the home.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the set and was really excited to try it after reading some good reviews, but once i opened the box and installed the device i realized its not much faster than my previous router. I still get loading signals and labtop suddenly disconnects from wifi network.I thought i was actually not going to experience the same quality of signal being that this set costs more than $150. Also, the cameras that i have at home run basically the same way( takes about 4 min) to connect to the network. Idk hopefully this wasnt a waste of money.

I've gone through four of them and so far no issues. Add the fact that you also get a Google Assistant and this makes it a pleasure.

Wi-Fi signal strength may be affected by Wi-Fi interference like physical barriers which may cause the limited ranges and slower connection to the Internet. As a general rule, Nest Wifi Points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. But, I eventually started to experience an issue where there would be no internet access on my devices even though I'm connected to the Wi-Fi. This affected all my devices: phones, laptop, tablet, and smart displays. After much troubleshooting, I found that the Nest Wi-Fi Router was the problem. I would have to reboot it, sometimes multiple times in one day.

Posted .Hi KevinH, we're glad to hear that Nest Wifi worked, exceptionally for over a year with you. We are sorry to hear that you encountered an Internet connectivity issue. However, Nest Wifi relies heavily on your Internet service provider's modem to connect to the Internet. If you haven't tried yet, we recommend checking if you recently changed your ISP's modem, and to check if you're using a modem/router combo. If you are, it's important to set it up in bridge mode and disable its Wi-Fi functionality. This will help prevent any network issues caused by both your combo and your Nest Wifi Router, broadcasting the same SSID and password. You may then connect your Nest Wifi Router to your modem using an Ethernet cable, and then connect your Nest Wifi Points to your Nest Wifi Router wirelessly.
