House is less than 3K with main router upstairs and the 2 points downstairs. I have over 1.2G speed service and the best I can get downstairs is less than 120M. Look at others such as netgear as my previous netgear nighthawk single wireless router upstairs would yield me over 350M downstairs. Nighthawk died and was talked into this purchase by the folks at Best Buy...never again.

The Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2200 sq ft while each Nest Wifi point can cover up to 1600 sq ft. To have reliable Wi-Fi throughout your home, it’s best to check the placement of your Wi-Fi router and Google Wifi points. As a general rule, points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it part way in that direction. Try to place it in an elevated position like on a shelf. It may be helpful to try the following steps to see if the signal will improve:
- Repositioning the points to avoid obstructions like walls, doors, and aquariums can improve performance.
- Make sure all unused devices are off and not draining bandwidth with large downloads.
- Check for possible sources of interference such as microwave ovens, refrigerators or other equipment.
- Restart your network.

I have 1 GB internet by EPB and i only get 300mps on WiFi. When i hook it up the wired its fine for a couple days and then changes to 600mbp. Look elsewhere!
