We have a Linksys Mesh system in our main house and while it works well most of the time, it’s so much more complicated to set up and troubleshoot. The Google system takes just a few minutes to set up and since we have other Google/Nest products, it uses one app. I like that it can also be used as a Bluetooth speaker as well - comes in handy!

Great WIFI Mesh System!

Covers my whole house and since then have never had a problem with WIFI connectivity with all my electronics and smart gadgets. Before I was using a powerline system and always had issues, very unreliable but no more with this wonderful Nest WIFI! As a bonus there are 2 smart speaker points that are included. Excellent system overall!

These things are amazing!!! Increased my Internet speeds instantly once I connected them. These are faster than the router my internet company provided me, and that’s with 30 devices connected. I love the app and being able to run speed tests easily and also the ability to manage all the devices connected is a plus. Great buy!

No bridging issues. Just disconnect your spectrum router from the modem and plug this baby in with the same spectrum ethernet plug. Boom ! 3800 square for wifi coverage. Return your crappy spectrum router or any of the crap spectrum extenders and get money back on your spectrum internet.

Although most devices that use Wi-Fi are compatible with Google Nest Wifi and Google Wifi, there are a few that aren’t. Usually, this is because they lack the latest hardware or software supported by Nest Wifi. Nest Wifi only supports devices with WPA2 + PSK or WPA3 + PSK, which are the most popular methods of securing your network. Older devices that only have WPA or WEP encryption (like old printers) will not be able to connect to Nest Wifi.

My house is not that big, but a funky layout, and I tended to not have a great signal in my room. Our home has several wifi devices connected at any one time, so I thought that was how it had to be. With the new Mesh system, I can stream comfortably from my room. It also helped with connecting my camera outside my back door.

Getting the pods and locating them where the original router was plus 2 more levels did the trick. 4500 sf thru concrete walls and gypsum in-floor heat was too much for the router. Not actually using the google home pod function yet, actually was surprised that was part of the deal. Was just recommended the 3 pod system to solve big home wifi woes.

It does everything you need it to do without ever having to tinker or mess with it. This Nest Wifi also has great coverage providing my two story 1200 sq ft. house with coverage everywhere and minimal speed drops. The app is intuitive and provides plentiful features. Would recommend this to anyone, regardless of the new Wi-Fi 6 routers out there. Sometimes, you just want your internet to work.
