I will not recommand this devices. The connection was dropping off all the time with slow speed. Contacted google few times but no solution. They decided to send me new ones but I wont use it. I will rather shop for different model. Very disappointed with google nest wifi.

The Nest WIF absolutely solved my WiFi problems in my home. I have a 3,000 Sq Ft home and the location of my modem was in the lower level in a bedroom. I changed ISP provider and although my speed increased, my wifi was still not very strong in rooms far away from the router. I found the Nest mesh system and the wifi was instantly improved and I am now able to stream 4K in a room on another level and on the complete other end of the home. Perfect solution.

Supposedly faster, but very little documentation on how to upgrade from the old Google pucks. It does have the nice feature of speaker built into one.
