These are small they look more like speakers but they work great. Fast internet and a reliable connection so far no problems with the router or the point.

This will be my 4th mesh type router system that I have owned over the years, so i've definitely been around the block with these types of systems! Opening the box, you get the idea that google is going for kind of a minimalist approach to their routers. Something that will just blend into your home and you wont even know its there. They are very plain looking white cylinders. You also get 2 power cords and a ethernet cable....and thats it! I have to say, setting up this system has been easier by a long shot than any other system I used. I already had the Google home app on my phone and am part of the Google ecosystem, so I basically just plugged in the router and hooked it up to my modem and followed the instructions in the google home app. I was literally up and running in a few minutes. If you don't have a google account, it may take slightly longer because you will have to sign up for an account. Once the main router is set up, you simply plug in your other router and go through basically the same setup process in the app. A few little taps and a couple minutes later and your node is connected to the main router and you are ready to go! We have a roughly 2500 square foot house with upper level and walk out basement. These 2 nodes easily covered our entire house and small yard that we have. We probably could have even gotten away with just 1 of them. As far as speed goes, its just as fast if not faster than any other ones I have used. The main router we are getting about 100 Mbps and on the second node located on the lower level we get about 60-70 Mbps . So there is very little drop in speed. We have a house of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. So often times there is multiple HD videos streaming and things being downloaded and games being played all at the same time. I've never noticed any problems with this router. It keeps up with us without any problems! Having the google assistant built into the node is an added bonus feature. Now you can get rid of your mini speakers and just use the router. I don't understand why that feature isn't built into the main router and its only on the remote nodes though. You'd think they would have it on all of them. That's one little gripe I do have about these. The other is that there are no Ethernet ports on the secondary nodes either. I used to have my security cameras and hue light system hooked up to my router in the basement and now I need to reconfigure everything because there isn't any ethernet ports on the secondary node. Other than those 2 small gripes, I think this is a fantastic system! I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a whole home WiFi system. I would recommend it even more if you are already part of the google ecosystem!

Descent option overall. Nice controls using the Google Home app, but features are very limited. Pricey. Can’t tell a huge difference in WiFi quality.

We recently changed internet servers, and rather than rent and pay monthly for the router , we decided to purchase the Nest Wifi-Mesh Router. The tech who installed the equipment also did the router. It seemed relatively easy, but we are glad that he handled it for us. They are small, attractive, and unobtrusive in 2 second floor bedrooms at opposite ends of the house, which gives us full wifi throughout the entire house, including the first floor.

We bought this mesh system to be able to use our devices on our front porch. It works great and makes a huge difference.

Upgraded from 8 year old tech, mind blowing results and syncs up to google home very well. Highly recommend to anyone!

Easy to install. I bought these at the same time I bought a modem to replace a leased modem router from Comcast Xfinity. My house has old, solid plaster wall construction. The base unit is on a different floor from the point and I am getting download speeds 3X to 5X faster from the point. The printer which I had been unable to use wirelessly now works like a charm. And all of my online work is faster. Very glad I went with a mesh router.

The system helped speed up the internet so we did have a drag on watching movies as well as helping the mini googles to connect faster.

Very easy to set up. Works with smart TV’s. Expanded my wifi range and strength even over our second story home!
