Easy setup

I am not the most tech savvy person. Also found out today that I cannot have the verizon wifi on along with these mesh routers. I was unaware of this and struggled with having a consistent internet connection from either until I turned the VZ wifi off. They say I still need it though, so I am confused

Posted .Hi there IPad, thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you had some difficulty setting up Nest Wifi. Nest Wifi works with Verizon. If the modem and router provided by Verizon are separate, replace the existing router with Nest Wifi to set it up with your Verizon connection. However, if it is a Verizon modem-router combo, you may need to set it up in bridge mode and disable its Wi-Fi functionality. This will avoid any network issues caused by both your combo and your Nest Wifi Router, broadcasting the same SSID and password. You may then connect your Nest Wifi Router to your modem using an Ethernet cable, and then connect your Nest Wifi Points to your Nest Wifi Router wirelessly.
If the issue is persistent, even after following the steps we provided, we recommend contacting our support team for further help on the issue, by visiting the Google Wifi help page: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

I regret my purchase, but if you want a device you can turn a blind eye to it’s probably just okay. Ease of use is 5 star and 1 star at the same time. Super easy to setup and get started, impossible to do anything else really.
