Very dependent on positioning within the household. Will never be as good as a wired or MoCA connection, but as that is not possible in my living arrangement, this is as good a solution as I can hope for.

The Nest WiFi has not only eliminated the cold spots, but I’m realizing the full bandwidth of my ISP all over the house. Yes, some spots are seeing less than 200Mb/sec, but they were seeing ~10Mb/sec before installing the Nest WiFi.

I choose this setup as I have a longer ranch style joke and wanted the mesh system. It was easy to set up and has been 100% reliable, even when I’ve needed to turn power on and off. It comes back quick and automatically connects with no problems.

This product is highly recommended. I will definitely consider repurchasing this item at a later date.

The timed routines work most of the time. Most mornings, I have to yell at the device for it to respond. To be fair, my spacious condo is over 500 sqft, so it might not be able to hear me down the 3 ft long hallway and across the 10ft long breakfast nook Of course, I’m currently on this website because I’m looking for warranty information… it’s been glitching a lot lately. Not running routines properly, not understanding basic commands like “stop”, “shut the f up”. I have considered that it has a mental health issues. Some of its other personalities come out at random, like the lady that only responds in Spanish and the younger man that doesn’t seem to know he’s not alive. Either way, I feel it’s time to trade one evil for another and possibly go for Alexa.
