Outstanding performance.

I wish I took the leap to a mesh system sooner. Easily the highest quality network I've ever used. Very easy to set up as well.

If that didn’t happen I would give it a 5 star.

For connectivity issues, we recommend trying out some tips below to help isolate the issue:
- As a general rule, points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it part way in that direction. Try to place it in an elevated position like on a shelf.
- Building materials and other objects located between your Nest Wifi Points and mobile devices may slow your connection. If possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your primary and secondary Points.
- There could be signal interference due to traffic on your Wi-Fi network, on your neighbors' Wi-Fi networks, or from other sources like microwaves or baby monitors.

A Solid upgrade over Gen 1 Google Wifi

I just wish it was WIFI6

Can get WIFI in the basement now and outside and garage with these extenders. Also you don't need a Google home with these as it comes with too

Had trouble with the baby monitor that is connected to the wifi and wasn’t working due to poor wifi signal and now it works perfect!

Instead I bought a Netgear router and used it as an access point with an ethernet cable to bring wi-fi into the other end of my apartment.

Now everyone is able to connect to our Wi-Fi everywhere in our house. It worked as advertised. And the family likes having access to Home Assistant where ever there is a point.

Since I have upgraded I no long have drop off's. Furthermore, it is easy to customize and monitor activity. I would definitely buy it again.

It has handled over 30 household streaming or bandwidth hungry devices without a hitch. Homeschooling and working from home has not been an issue.

Returned it and since installing the Nest, no issues. I stream Peloton classes with no buffering and clean signals. Very happy with the purchase.

-type of device you are using
-distance between the device and your router or point
-the frequency your devices are connected to
-physical barriers like walls in your home.

-Move the connected device closer to your Wifi router or point.
-Run a mesh test to confirm placement of your Wifi points. Try to move your router or point to a more open or unobstructed location and your router or points closer to each other.
-Restart your network.

Excellent Wi-Fi Setup

I needed to expand my wifi coverage to the garage and backyard without having different SSID. I thought google nest mesh would be the answer, but i am consistently getting around 100 mbps. i understand wireless will never reach full speed, but my fios router gives me wireless speeds of 500+ mbps. If only i could expand the coverage for that router. (2 stars) I like that each point is also a speaker, essentially giving you google assistant wherever you place it. (1 star)

Thanks for your feedback. Nest Wifi can't really work with 3rd party routers like your existing Gigabit Frontier Fios router since it will create a double NAT scenario that can cause connectivity issues, similar to the one you're experiencing. You can only use Google Wifi and Nest Wifi Routers/Points together to create a Wi-Fi mesh network. To fix this, you can put your combo in Bridge mode to disable its Wi-Fi functionality and create a Nest Wifi mesh with the primary Nest Wifi Router wired to your combo, then connect the other Nest Wifi Points to it.

For some reason I constantly have connectivity issues with one of the WiFi units. I followed all of Google’s suggestions, including getting a new modem and I still have the issue
