Supposedly Google and PS4 do not work well together. The router works perfectly for all other devices and streaming. And it easy to use with the Google Home App. I love that I could set the kids devices on a set timer to turn on and off during the school week. If you wanted to use this for gaming then you will need to use an ethernet cable directly into your PS4 if you don’t want to keep losing wifi connection over and over and over again. You might think the additional mesh would work but it will not work with your PS4. Again, it will keep losing the Wifi signal. I would highly recommend the EERO Pro cause it’s very similar and I think it’s actually a far better router. Also EERO has been making these routers for a much longer time so they got it down.

I love the family wifi settings where I can set time limits for the kids. Recently have a dead spot after I moved the router, so I need to continue to configure.

I was assured by the “Network Specialist” at Best Buy that this system would do the trick. Well guess what? It did not work I’m my shop at all, and was worse than my original configuration which consisted of a provider supplied wireless router and my Netgear WiFi extender. I tried everything, then decided to add my Netgeat extender to the Google Nest system, and with that was able to get a signal to the workshop that was marginally better than my originals setup, to the tune of $350. WiFi in the main house does work well, but it did before this system also.

My network strength is now solid throughout my house. Plus all the neat features that comes with google home makes this purchase a great buy.

Wi-fi problems have been resolved and I have returned the rented wi-fi box to the cable company. Very happy so far.

Everything automatically switched to the new network. Now I can use the Google home app for everything instead of switching between 2.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing some issues with your Google Nest Wifi. We know Wi-Fi disconnection can be frustrating, and we'd like to help.
Here are some troubleshooting steps that may resolve it:
Perform a five minute power cycle:
- Disconnect power from modem. Disconnect Ethernet cable and power from your Nest Wifi. Leave them all unplugged for five minutes. Connect power to modem and allow the modem to power on fully before proceeding. This can take up to two minutes. All light indicators should be solid. Connect Ethernet cable and power to your Nest Wifi. Wait until it’s fully back online.
You can also perform a factory data reset to further isolate the issue:
- Look for a circle etched into the bottom. Press and hold the factory reset button at the bottom of your Google Nest Wifi router for 10 seconds. The light will pulse yellow, then turn solid yellow. When the light is solid yellow, release the button. Once the button is released, the light will turn solid white for a brief moment (five seconds), then to a solid orange light.
- Once the light turns to solid orange, this will start the reset process. It can take up to 10 minutes. Do not unplug the power cord during this process.
- When factory reset is complete, the light on your router will turn to a faint solid white light. After a few seconds, it will pulse white.
- Once the Nest Wifi router is pulsing white, it's ready for setup.

Like the voice assistant in the hubs too.
