There can be multiple reasons that cause slower Wi-Fi speed. First, you can try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your router to see if it improves the Wi-Fi speed. You can also try to bring it closer just to check if the speed will improve as there's a possibility of interference.
To get the best experience with Nest Wifi, we recommend setting your gateway in bridge mode, or disable its Wi-Fi functionality in order to set up Nest Wifi router as your primary router, and create a mesh Wi-Fi system throughout your home. You can also try to restart your network to observe if the speed will improve.

Slower than my current 5GHZ router even when working. The best speed if 2/3rds of my old system and consistently drops to less than 100Mbs and then it'll be 10Mbs, so it must have switched to the 2.4GHz band. You also have to clearly in line-of-site to get reasonable speeds. A big disappointment and too late to return

- Disconnect power from all of your network devices, including your modem and any Nest Wifi devices.
- Reconnect power to your modem only.
- Reconnect power to your Nest Wifi router or primary Google Wifi point and wait until it's fully on.
- Check for possible sources of interference such as microwave ovens, refrigerators or other equipment.
- If you continue to have connection issues, you can reset your Nest Wifi devices and set it up again

Writing this connected do mobile data as my lovely system can't send me a good signal from 10 ft away. No it's not the service provider, no its not modem.... my wired tv works great. Wildly frustrating and wish id never swifched from my nighthawk....least it worked every day.
