It did not give any better coverage or speed than the nighthawk router we had...that was half the price. Seemed to work fine for our tv's but it kept kicking my kids chromebooks and my wife's galaxy note 20 off wifi. I took it back. Wasn't worth the money or hassle.

We appreciate your feedback. We´re sorry you had to return your Nest Wifi after experiencing poor Wi-Fi coverage and speed issues with your wife's and kids devices.
The issue may have been related to a double NAT case wherein both your modem/router combo and Nest Wifi were broadcasting the same SSID and password. This can be fixed by connecting Nest Wifi Router directly to your modem's WAN port to establish your Wi-Fi mesh network, then disable the Wi-Fi functionality of your combo by putting it in Bridge mode.

Just bad luck I guess

Setup was a breeze as anticipated. Once installation was complete and everything was online, OOKLA speed tests were consistently 30-50 Mbps throughout my 2k' sq ft three level home. Even 5' from the main router. After some basic troubleshooting steps things went from bad to worse. The router was no longer seeing the modem. Plugged back in the router provided by my ISP and was getting 300+. Signal strength showed full bars everywhere in the home. Using the app I was able to confirm the firmware was up to date. Just trying to decide now which router to try next. This was my first mesh
