The WiFi and the coverage is great, the speaker is decent for being such a small accessory point. The main issue was trying to setup and install the router. I had to call Spectrum and Google to figure it out. The temporary WiFi password is so hard to see you need very good eyes. You also need a current version of Google home in order to install. overall I’m glad I purchased it, the signal is solid throughout the house.

i bought this to help my spotty wi fi coverage on first floor of two story house, as well as outside back patio/porch. My internet connection is on second floor in office and i do not have ethernet cabling to the rest of the house. So TV streaming is wi fi only, as well as some security cameras, and audio streaming outside. I set the main router in my office, with one point near the open foyer, and second one near rear of house on first floor. The mesh connection checks out great. My main TV on first floor is not quite in direct line of sight of the access point, but pretty close to it. The outside patio/porch are in direct line of sight. I got this mesh system to replace on old RT-N66U that is still functional but has a broken power button (have a zip tie to hold the button in). I am more than a little disappointed that my wi fi coverage is not much, if any better. Pro-easy to set up and monitor using the app. Con-the main router has ONE ethernet port available other than the one connecting it to my internet modem.

We were having trouble getting good coverage in our 3,300 sq/ft house with our old router. We got these and it was an immediate improvement. It’s also very concealable and easy to set up. It’s a great mesh network with no dead spots. I highly recommend this as a good solution if you are trying to expand your network. We also use 35+ wireless devices and it handles them well.

I needed to extend my existing Google Wi-Fi network and bought this. I factory reset the existing Google units and setup the Nest Wi-Fi as the primary and then added the Nest Point and Google Wi-Fi units to the mesh. Amazing coverage now and I enjoy the Google assistant on the Nest Point. It streams music and sounds surprisingly good. Glad I bought it.

Combined with existing Google WiFi network. Easy to setup. Improved coverage to corners of house and deck.

My friend bought these for his house and needed something that would extend his WiFi to the downstairs, because there main rooms are on the second floor. He has had these installed for a few weeks now and is very happy with the signal strength he gets on the first floor and the rest of the house.

The internet speed and bandwidth we had in our home with the wifi router supplied from the cable company was trash. The worst. I almost wanted to switch companies again. Someone recommended I get a mesh system and holy cow it has been the best choice ever. There is no lag on any of our devices and the Google Mesh system powers our entire smart home.

We have the older generation for our business and decided to splurge on the new generation for our home. We had horrible reception at n half the house even though we had at for really high speed internet. The mesh system solved our problem and was east to install. My advise is to turn off devices other than phones when installing so it can be done quickly and efficiently.

Great wifi mess network on the market. So easy to setup and blazing fast speeds.

Easy to set up. However, I wished it came with additional instructions on what to do when you have a modern/router. I didn’t know you have to switch the router off in your modern/router for it to work properly. The other issue that I am having is that sometimes some devices can’t connect automatically to the network again unless I manually pick the network again.

Where has the Nest Mesh system been all my life?!? I’ve been using a $400 gaming router for the past couple years, but never had full house coverage. The mesh system works in every area of our two story house and outside for about 35 feet! Simple set up with just scanning the barcodes!

Great router that is fast, reliable, and easy to install and use.

Plug it in, scan a QR code and boom you're done. One thing that may be a draw back is that the router determines what frequency you connect to, instead of choosing between 2 bands. It does a good job of managing, so not a huge issue. Mesh point easy to set up and provides same speed as if I were next to the base router. Would Recommend to anyone looking for a mesh setup.

SUPER easy set-up. One router and two points strategically placed in our 3200 sq. ft. multi-story home is working beautifully. Absolutely no problems. Everything can be tweaked/accessed through multiple Google apps like Assistant, Home, and Nest.

I have Verizon Fios 1G service and the provided router is not very good. Had a bunch of spots in the house with low or no coverage. Added the Nest Wifi and now have great coverage across the house. Easy to setup with the app and devices connect to the best signal seemlessly. I'd highly recommend if you need stronger wifi coverage. Only negative would be the price.

The installation process using the Google Home app is very easy to follow. The tools available made it very easy to find the best placement for the second unit. Performance has been totally satisfactory. The Google Assistant features will not be used. It was easy to turn them off. A physical switch to disable the microphone provides an added layer of security.
