There are many choices out there but in the end, I chose Google Nest WiFi mesh for the following reasons: - reliability and stability of WiFi - timely vulnerability patches as security is a high concern for me I took off 1 star due to not having the latest WiFi technology standards support in the product.

This network was incredibly easy to set up. And, little did I know beforehand each point doubles as a Google Assistant device (like a Google Mini), with a decent speaker built-in. I created a whole-house speaker group to include these access points, and now I have a nice little whole-home speaker system.

I had previous purchased an Orbi from BB but had some issues getting one home item connected. So. switched out for this since I also got a Nest Hello doorbell and Home Hub. Everything connected instantly and signal strength is excellent all over house. We have 1800 up and 1800 basement. Highly recommend

Terrible product. Ive had the mesh wifi for little over a year now and it has been the worst investment ive ever made. Since day 1 ive had connectivity issues and speed issues. Not only can you never get 5g wifi speed but the 2g wifi speed is worse than it should be too. Im writing this review now because just after 1 year of having these they decided to stop working. They are not connecting and while the wifi is still somehow up it states it has no internet. Ive reset it and everything with no luck. Avoid these products at all cost, a regular router with wifi is a million times better than this mesh crap.

I feel like we are at the point in the smart home battle where we have to choose just one OS, but so many have their pros and cons. I added the "NEST" to the lineup of Alexa, AppleTV, HomePod, etc. Overall I am happy. I like how sleek and cool it looks, the speeds are certainly amazing, but I wish this technology would be integrated into one.

I was on the fence for a while on whether or not buy this Google's Nest Wifi mesh system. Once I saw it go on sale it was at the right price point for me. I installed and I now have great coverage throughout my home. Setup process was easy and straightforward with my existing router.

I live in an area were there is no cell service at all. I feel like I am in heaven. Everything is so much faster ... and not to mention that I can just ask for SiriusXM - request a station ... and there it is. I don't know how I survived before and would recommend this product highly.

Got this in order to resolve wifi signal strength issues that were impacting streaming video quality in our suddenly video-conference heavy home. This has worked very well. Would be nice if both units had a speaker included, only the 2nd unit has a speaker, the main router does not.

My wireless router did not have a strong signal throughout the house. The Nest WiFi gives me a consistent strong signal in my whole house. I am getting over 100 Mbps in areas where I was getting 5 or 6 before. Setup was very easy and intuitive. I highly recommend this if your wireless signal is weak.

I spent weeks researching different routers and mesh options, and after multiple forums which rated this pretty highly I decided to go with the Google Nest. I needed up upgrade from the router I had been using because it couldn’t keep up with the increased demand with my partner doing ZOOM calls for class on top of my already pretty bandwidth heavy work. While I don’t need an additional access point at this time, I did like that you have the option to purchase the 1st gen version as additional access points for a cheaper cost without compromising the quality of the network. I set the mesh network up in a matter of minutes, and it was honestly the easiest WiFi network setup I’ve had in my adult life. The Google Home app makes it very easy to manage, and the simplicity honestly surprised me. I was surprised to learn that the second access point doubles as a Google Home Mini, which either wasn’t clear in the description or I just overlooked it entirely. Either way, a nice feature I wasn’t expecting. The turnaround time for delivery was very quick. A few days after I purchased it, it actually went on sale and Best Buy was very gracious to refund the difference which was appreciated.

We were using a very old wifi router. It done an ok job for coverage in our house, but nothing like the Nest wifi Mesh router. We have great coverage in every corner of the house now. Having the google assistant in both of the points is also a very nice feature.

I love that while these "points" don't have ethernet on them for hardwiring, they DO have speakers on them, turning them into a wifi access point plus a nest mini. Super awesome all around, and great performance

This is the single best purchase I have made in a long time. This product has excellent quality, the speed of the Wi-Fi is lightening fast, and setup was easier than anything I’ve ever used. I recommend this product to every person I can as I’m thrilled with its performance and ease of use.

Our home has always had trouble with internet coverage. Not any more since we got the Nest router and extenders. So nice to know where ever we are we have coverage. It is a great addition to our home.

Works great and I love how I can communicate with my kids while I'm in another room. I love that I can also stream music to all the devices in my home. My only regret is that I wish I would've bought them sooner.

Change my ISP provided crap router with the google nest router I'm ow actually getting my 1Gig internet upload/Download speed I pay for but haven't been receiving through service providers Cappy router! Great investment if you want to get the internet speed your actually paying for!

It’s definitely a genius idea to combine Google assistant and WiFi mesh network! Now combining it with smart home devices and everything works smoothly. Great coverage for the whole house. Much better experience compared to the old version.

This is the second time I've bought this product, I have the Gen 1 product in my home and now am using this for a small office setup. I'm running IP phones, printers, and computers for 4 people. Lightning fast to set up and troubleshooting is easy even for a non-IT Sales guy.

This system seems to have trouble consistently connecting with my Mac laptop. Sometimes I'm getting fast speeds and then the next time it's so slow as to be unusable. I don't have this problem with any other wifi system I connect to. Very strange. I'm adding an extra add-on point between my office and the base unit to see if that helps.
