The design is very minimalistic, the setup was pretty easy, and my speeds are alot better coming from an older cheaper nighthawk router. Unfortunately i had to manually move every nest device on my google home manually to this router, there is no easy way to move unless you keep the same ssid and password. Router settings are lacking so you cant do much to customize it.

I've owned this product for several months now and it works fantastic. Set up with super easy and the signal strength and speed are great. The one thing I would hope to see on the next generation of this product would be to have the actual Wi-Fi pod include the Google Home speaker. As of this generation only the point includes the speaker / Google Assistant.

I have needed a new WiFi network router for ages and am thrilled with the Nest WiFi. It was a breeze to set up and has improved reception throughout the house tenfold. I don't miss the constant buffering on the TV downstairs especially when I dared to use the microwave oven while it was on. Wish I had done it sooner.

I purchased this to replace our ~4 year old Nighthawk X8. I read a bunch of reviews and was holding out for the new Orbi System, but decided to stick with google because of the reviews and I have a Google Nest Thermostat already. The broadcast function is great, the ability to customize each point with its abilities and ultimately the speeds are consistent and stable.

It’s one of those things you don’t know you need, and once you get it, you wonder why you didn’t get it sooner My house is two stories and there were a couple dead spots. I’d never heard of mesh routers and just figured I needed an expander but learned that they can reduce overall internet speed, or at least, perform Lesser than expected. But I walked into Best Buy and noticed all these beautifully designed mesh routers that I’d never known about. A bunch of companies I hadn’t heard but they had really nice products. I finally did my research and saw that mesh was right for me. I chose Google because the design is nice but not too fancy, and I already had a google home and chrome cast. May as well sign my home life over to them. My reception is still not perfect but I’m not dropping out as much as I used to. Maybe I need to move stuff around and play with the ranges but it was easy to set up and fun to sync up. Definitely a worthwhile investment (work from home folks, count it as a tax deduction!)

Out internet strength was not good enough to support two people working from a three story home. This router system is lightening fast and easy to install. I ran into one minor problem during installation, and got support via the chat function. The problem was fixed in less than 5 minutes. No problems since installing these. We went from about 20% of max signal to over 95%.

I upgraded my old WiFi router to a Nest Mesh and the coverage and speed increased quite a lot. Set up went well once I reconnected my old router in order to download the setup app. You can't get a download without internet connection so reverse the short written directions which say to connect the Nest first. Nice looking in the living room and huge improvement over my old router.

Easy installation of router and two add-on points. Have always had trouble spots throughout our home with just a router. Since installing this mesh system we have no dead spots throughout the entire 3500 sf of our home. It's been installed for a couple of weeks and with three kids and two adults on wifi and the same time we have not experienced any lags in performance.

Excellent equipment. Does the job well. Easy to install. Highly recommend.

I upgraded to this unit because I upgraded my Internet speed to 600/15. The intent was to purchase a Point unit only to extend my network for better coverage, however, there was a great promotion. $70 off for both units. I was using the original Google Mesh Wifi. Because of this new model purchase, I decided to use the Nest Router as a main router unit and configure the rests as Points. My new setup is: Nest Router with 4 Points (1 Nest Wifi Points, 3 Google Wifi Points). Works like a charm with no hiccups. The Nest Wifi Point (Mist color) turned out to be a Google "Home" as well. Speaker quality is great for a unit this small.

Bought these to replace Apple airport, which had inexplicably lost a lot of speed. House is not big but has multiple levels, so the mesh system was a must since the cable modem is in the basement. Now I can even go out into the yard and stay on WiFi. Set up was super easy. Not really interested in the smart speaker, so glad there is a turn off switch for the mic.

The Google Nest Mesh System was recommended to me by my internet service provider for better connectivity across my home. I wasn't sure how many I would need for the best service so I ordered the 2 Add on Point system, but quite honestly, I only needed one. I have and would recommend this mesh system to anyone having dead zones / coverage issues in their house.

Easy to set up. The app is easy to navigate also and I can quickly do a speed test or check the connection from the app. I upgraded from a Cisco Valet which was working fine, but this has helped increase my internet speed and reliability. I caught the pack with the point on sale so I feel it was a reasonable value.

Bought this router to deal with an issue we were having with our WiFi. One of the rooms in our apartment was complete WiFi dead zone, this router solved that problem. Super easy to set up with your phone and the all the router tells you to use. Plus side is that the Mesh point also acts as a Bluetooth google assistant speaker which you can connect to your smart devices.

Can not recommend these enough. To give details my house is 1,100 square feet with an attached 2 car garage sitting on around 1 acre of property. Before I had the cable provider router which was horrible with range, speed and dropping. Now with the mesh I have one in my living room where modem is and put the other one in my garage. I have full wifi every where in my house, my favorite feature is I have full wifi on my whole property, I can mow the lawn and even at the farthest end of my property I still am connected to wifi listening to music/podcasts. Another favorite feature is the second point is a google home speaker, meaning I can be under the car in the garage or have my hand full/dirty and can ask google to change songs, call contacts, open garage door, everything google home controls plus its a speaker so I can have something playing in the house and then ask google to change to garage and it starts exactly where I left it, amazing product really love it and makes my life so much easier wish I bought it sooner.

When ordering it wasn't clear that only the extender works as a smart speaker, so I had to order an additional Nest mini. It's kind of annoying that Google didn't build in the feature to the router since it looks identical and for me the goal is to simplify the number of devices that have to be synced up. Setup was fairly easy as far as router installations go, and everything has worked seamlessly so far.

These are great. They work very well. I am very happy with my purchase.

Best Wi-Fi extender you can possibly buy 2 years later Could not live without it supports all of my family's devices to the fastest Capability!

Extended my wifi range and maxed out my speed. Ease of setup is a plus.

This was an improvement I've been wanting to make after using a Spectrum provided router with wi-fi and extenders, which gave me spotty coverage in corners of my house and outside in my yard. The new Nest Wi-Fi has been fantastic coverage with great speeds not only for my home but for my entire property. It also integrates nicely with my Google Assistant. Highly recommend.
