This mesh wifi combo works really well and has great range. I bought it for a friend and through the Google Home app we were able to set them up with no complications. Accounts are done using your Google account so there's nothing new to set up.

I looked at a lot of mesh systems but every review I read led me back this. The coverage in my house is great. I can have Xbox gaming going In one room, streaming a 4K movie in another, and TikTok going in another and not miss a beat. Set up is so simple. Anyone can do it.

I'm a huge fan of these! Super easy to set up, and always provide consistent coverage (although my place is smaller than a 4 bedroom house, so not positive how it'd work in a bigger space). But for a smaller townhouse, condo, or apartments, these are great!

Nice product. Fixed my Wi-Fi drops in my upstairs. Very easy to install, works absolutely fantastic. A bit expensive, more than I wanted to spend but my Netgear Nighthawk Router gave up so... I am ok with this product. No issues, no drops. Get what ya pay for.

This is perfect for us especially due to this pandemic. Our old Wi-Fi was just not cutting it. With my daughter doing online school and me teleworking, we lost connectivity or buffering numerous times. With the Nest, that no longer happens. Also, setup was so easy.

After the cable company setting up "supposed" internet, trying extenders (to no avail) the Google Mesh Network fixed my problems!! We have a home with a lot of rock walls and concrete block and I wasn't getting connection in 1/2 the house! This did the trick! Love it!

Best and easiest router to use! I love the speed it gave me. Was using net gear and the technician from my internet company said to give this a shot instead and I’ve been getting 300+ mbps. No Wi-Fi issues easily installation! Best system wouldn’t go another route.

Excellent mesh system. Set up was super easy and the coverage is insane. Block wall, no problem. Lots of wiring nearby, no problem. This thing just powers through it all. Worth the purchase price if paired with a great modem ( not a ISP provider one).

Coverage is great for the small office using this mesh router (around 3500 sq ft) and there are no dips in speeds or signal throughout for the 8+ users. Very easy of setup following the guidelines set on the Google Home app and in box instructions.

Wow! What a difference adding this to our internet did. Before I had two different signal boosters, but they didn’t do a good job. Since adding the Google Nest internet speeds are good throughout the house and we have 17 devices connected. Would recommend!

The Nest system is good, but the major issue for me is not being able to ID those devices that are 5G v 2.4G. My printer (2.4) was a major reset and had to have the techicians on the phone and on-site to solve. The main TV (5G) still IDs "network not connected" and I have to yell at Google. Otherwise, I'm good... :-)

    • Brand response from Nest Support
      Posted .

Hi LindaL, thanks for sharing your insights on Nest Wifi. Your Nest Wifi devices keep it simple by automatically choosing the band that gives you the best Wi-Fi. It won't show you any separate networks showing the 2.4 and 5GHz bands. Instead, it will show the same name for both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. Both radio bands are active simultaneously. Keep in mind that your personal devices (smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.) will connect to only one radio band at any given time. Based on the device capabilities, Nest Wifi will attempt to select the band that will deliver the best performance for your device. However, if you're willing to try, we recommend removing all your connected devices to Nest Wifi, to isolate any possible congestion with the 5GHz band for your network. You may then check if your TV will be able to connect to Nest Wifi.

If you need further assistance, our support team would be more than happy to offer a helping hand. Please reach out to us using this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp Nest

Google Nest Wifi Mesh system is easy to set up and provides great coverage in our home of 2,000 sq. feet. We purchased the 2 pack and that is plenty of coverage for our home. The speed is what we should have for our internet plan and the phone app works great to manage the system. We are very happy with this puchase

Easy to setup. Get 600 mbps(max for my Xfinity plan) near the router. Gets 200 mbps two rooms away without the extensions. Once I move to my new house I have to test by attaching the two points to the main router hub

The router is really easy to setup. The connection speed is great and the mesh system is big enough to cover my entire 3000 Sq ft split level wood frame 100% brick facade house. I can walk about 200 feet down the street and still get a signal. The drawback is you can't disable the 5 ghz network to pair 2.4 ghz only devices.

This improved the coverage and speeds in my house. I recently had the Linksys Velop with the booster and didn’t get consistent speeds throughout my house. My sons room is pulling the same speeds with the point in there that I’m getting in my living room.

The setup was easy. You basically setup a network and move all your devices to it. Then you can see all of them and there usage. The satellite gives a strong signal so I’m not dropping the connection anymore. It has helped with everyone being home because of COVID.

Very easy to set up and signal is strong. Passes through top speeds of my high speed internet. I like that the Google Home App can control everything so I don't have to switch between apps all the time to control music/lights and other devices. Make life a little easier.

After over two years of having terrible wifi from the router provided by my ISP, I finally decided to try the Google Nest. My only regret is not switching sooner. Internet is super fast, never drops and covers every square inch of my house! Highly recommended!

Bought Google Nest system because it was time for an upgrade.. My old system would not keep up with the family needs. Happy to report the Nest was easy to set up and works well everywhere in our 2400 sq ft house. I have the router and just 1 access point

I was having all kinds of problems with wifi cutting in and out in my house. The Optimum people said that the router they supply can't really handle the 400 mbps speed that I'm paying for and I should buy my own router (go figure). It's been a few weeks now since I bought the Google Nest 2-pack. The set up was easy and I'm getting the speed that I'm paying for and then some. That's with testing wireless (speedtest.net) on my iPhone in the next room from the router. I'm getting good signal in all rooms of my house. I have one unit on the main floor of the house and the other upstairs in my bedroom. I'm even getting a good signal in the basement where I don't have a unit as well as my outside deck. I've cut the cord so I have many devices running at the same time. Now with 3 kids in school and remote learning, good wifi is very important. Great job Google!!
