I bought Google Wifi mesh system with one point extension. This is the set comes in a good package. According to the google store, this is the couple recommended for the size of my house but obviously just the router itself would be enough for my house. My kids love the google assistant and I decided to keep it. I like the features come with Google home app. Especially, filtering system, family wifi, guest wifi. It is an expensive one when compared to other competitives.

My only complaint is that when initially turning on an app like SLING on the tv, it buffers...just for a few seconds. It’s really not a major inconvenience. I guess in a world where we expect everything instantly, I wasn’t expecting that. But again, it’s only for a few seconds. I like that the system can be added on to. I have a narrow house, but it’s 4 floors. This system somehow is able to reach everywhere & I can add additional points elsewhere in the house. I like that the points can play music & it’s a sleek, clean look. Overall, I recommend.

Very happy with my purchase of the Google Nest router. Setup was easy and the signal is very robust throughout our house.

My family is very happy with the coverage now and the speed is great we don’t have any lagging or buffering when we stream

1. Installation went smooth. I've replaced my router enough to know to power cycle my cable modem so it comes up fresh and sees the new router fresh and gives it an IP address. No hitches there. The setup did hang at one point requiring me to restart the router and the Google Home app, but it went through on the second try. I have no idea what was different. Possibly a matter of latency. Installation of each extender point also went smooth. I *STRONGLY* recommend use of the plug/socket hanger and cable organizer that Best Buy sells. They are awesome and keep the wiring from pets and people. 2. The points function as Google Home speaker devices which makes them great for extending your reach to light bulbs that may have been a bit far from your Google Mini/Nest speakers. They *DON'T* fix the well known issues with C by GE Bluetooth based lightbulbs. Sorry. But they have decent sound and they otherwise work perfectly with Google Home compatible wifi smarthome devices. 3. The points have some serious reach and I'm finding previous network issues to my devices have disappeared. They relay from point to point quite nicely. You can have a recommended max of five points plus the router but two works fine for me across three floors. All in all, a great choice for houses with poor wifi reach and people who need a simple and easy to set up mesh wifi system. Network geeks might be a little let down at the simplicity, but this isn't aimed at people who want SSH with keys or SNMP access. It's made for the common Android phone user who is comfortable with Google applications.

We had constant problems with our home wifi. I upgraded our modem (1-step higher than what cable company leases to us) and added the Google Nest Mesh System and things haven't been better. Our wifi is exceptionally improved. When comparing the different modem levels I believe both upgrades were needed for a family of 5. This system was easy to set up and seems to cover our 3600 sq ft, 2-floor home. We went with the 3-pack system and all units are downstairs - upstairs still functions fine.

The office in my house was having internet connection problems for over a year. I continued to upgrade and have repairmen come out and see what they could do to remedy the slow speed. A sales person suggested that I get the nest. I thought it was expensive for what I needed. After months of frustration I made the purchase and found it is worth the money. My internet is working better in the past month than it has been in over 1 1/2 year. I'm very pleased with it.

I no longer have to link 5GHz from other devices, google does it for me. I also love how easy the set up is and use of an access point. One thing I did not realize is that the router itself is not equipped with google assistance so do not expect to use it as such. I love the Google WIFI app that accompanies it - it includes features like reviewing all connected devices, allowing priorities, and testing internet speed. Another great feature is the router updates itself.

I purchased this device to help improve my home coverage. Overall the device works as intended and when others are online due to Virtual Schooling the network works flawless for the most part. There are times when Google Meet has issue and it's hard to determine if it's my network or Google. Since I added Nest WIFI the issue has only occurred once or twice. Overall I am pleased with the device. On a side note my internet speed has improved as well.
