This lock looks good, it ties in with Nest very well, and works good. BUT... we installed this on our wine room door to keep the kids out of any teenage temptations, while we are out of town. Aparently, the code they use to get in the front door after school will also get them into this lock. There is no way to grant access to ONLY certain users / family. That seems silly that the family users has 100% access, or 0%. We side stepped this by adding a "2nd home" to our Nest account, and adding the lock there only, and only to 1 user. The notification that the lock was unlocked never gets to us. Not sure why we dont get those notifications.

I’m a smart home junkie. Everything from the lights to the sound system is automated, but the Yale lock isn’t my favorite purchase. Our prior lock was August. I thought this would be an upgrade, with the keypad built in. I actually purchased 2, but haven’t installed the 2nd one because the 1st isn’t fully functional. I accomplished the Master Code setup, but inspire of taking it apart to reset it several times, I can’t get it to let me program other codes or access the lock remotely or use it as I used August to set up an Auto Unlock when I come home. The lock is attractive. For punching in the 1 code I could program, it works. We are using other smart products in our home from Nest, Hue, Ring, Ecobee, etc. The primary deficit of the product is the lack of the ability to use both Google and Alexa. I get it that Nest is trying to corner the market, but this is sort of like the Apple/Windows battle of the 90’s. Stupid. For that simple reason, I can’t recommend this product.

Easy install and great in app updates. Without a doubt will be purchasing another one for my other properties.

This took me no longer than 45 min to install. Installation was super easy and straight to the point. Works great and looks great! My home is filled with Nest products... thermostat, doorbell, and know keyless lock!

Great product with great features with seamless installation instructions. My 2 issues: 1-Using my zip code for the lock time zone is limitation when setting up the passcode usage times. 2-Nest/Yale should integrate the lock with Apple Homekit. That would make it even easier to use.

Product is well worth the cost. Only down side was self installation. It was difficult to install but after consulting Yale the lock is fully operational, looks great, and safety of our home is maintained w/o a key.

This is my second one. Love that I can make codes for different people and give access all or just certain times of the day. Highly recommend.

This lock was very easy to install and did not require any modification to my existing door or frame. It's so nice to be able to come home and unlock the door before I ever get out of the car.
