This was the last piece to complete my Nest smart home and man it was a pain. I wish the Nest app and Google home just merge already. I had to reset my wifi passwords and install each device all over one at a time. I have 4 cameras a doorbell and this. Google, it has to be a better way. You also may need a burr motor on your door for ultimate lock smoothness.

I was a bit skeptical at first about smart locks in general, not Nest/Yale products specifically. As I've already owned other Nest products, as well as Google's, I thought it would be easier to add another Nest's into the ecosystem. It was quite easy to installed this onto the door. Setting it up with Nest's & Google's apps was pretty simple. It works as I hoped it would. Well worth the money spent.

I love my nest products and have installed them myself. This installation was a bit more challenging because our door isn't perfectly aligned. I'd suggest professional installation. I had to buy a drill to enlarge the hole in my door and the cost of the bit was high enough that I regretted not having the pros do this one! It works wells. Most people seem to think it is a door bell (even tho' we also have the Nest Hello doorbell!).

Instulation was simple as you would expect and its handy to be able to unlock the door on the way from the grocery when your hands are full. Just make sure you get the correct ecosystem since it is one or the other.

This lock was easy to install and setup was simple. There's a lot of functionality and cool to see the history of status. You can assign different codes to different people and know who has unlocked the door. It's great that it can be changed at any time and override through the app. The only downside is getting the deadbolt alignment perfect. The slightest rub against metal or wood and it gives errors that it won't lock, very sensitive. Make sure you have it right before leaving. Otherwise, this lock would be 5 stars.

Great entry door lock! I liked mine so much I got this one for my brother as a housewarming gift. He loves it too! I really like the fact that I can have all my nest products and work them too in one app. I can also work them with google. Very easy to use and I know who’s coming in and out my house with the individual passcodes. A good buy if you’re into making a smart home.

Easy to use and a very smooth and easy installation.

Great prodcut to have in your home if you ar eplaning to go keyless. No moer Losing the keys simply create a pincode and thats it. You can evem create temporary ones and still be able to open the door from your phone. Recommend it

I installed this deadbolt about a month ago after a lot of lost keys, lockouts etc. These problems are now a thing of the past. Kids don’t have to worry about remembering keys, and we don’t have to worry about them losing keys. I use the app and the keypad and they both work flawlessly. Locking the door is as simple as touching the Yale logo on the keypad. It’s easy to use and easy to install. I highly recommend this lock.

Simple installation with minor mechanical experience. Commissioning and programming through the Nest app is straightforward.

I've had this lock for 2 years now and we use it every day. At first I was a bit unsure of how the lock would hold up in winter but was pleasantly surprised that I had no issues. Works great can unlock and lock remotely which is nice. The batteries have lasted a year. (Each year) and it tells you when the battery is low.

Installs easily and makes life much simpler! Set up the app and you feel safer too!

Love this lock. It’s my first “smart lock” and it’s great. I love the “autolock after x minutes” setting, especially with a teenager who always forgets to lock the door. The Google assistant integration is awesome, and I love being able to assign (and restrict by time) individual lock codes — it’s great for my kid’s friends to use and I get a notification letting me know his friends came in. Just bought a second one.

I installed this smart lock a few weeks ago and it works extremely well. If you're replacing an existing deadbolt like I was, it takes minutes to install. Setup was easy and I love how simple it is to use and control. Being able to remotely monitor the lock status and remotely lock and unlock doors from the Nest app on my phone is really convenient. Also, I love NOT having to carry a key to get into my house!
