We initally had a Kevo lock and it never worked on the regular. It always logged itself off and wouldnt connect. I finally looked into other locks and came across this one. Its soooo much easier than the last lock! By far the best lock weve had. I thought I would never switch from Kevo now I will never switch from Yale lol

After locking ourselves out of our newly purchased house and spending $90 on a locksmith, we knew we needed a smart lock. The Nest x Yale has been one of our best purchases to date. It's super sleek, easy to use, and makes it so much easier and quicker for us to get into our house. HIGHLY recommend this product!

Easy to set up and I love that I can control it with my phone or just using google home. Having temp codes for people watching the house or like a dog walker are a huge bonus for me

Absolutely a must for your home. I am able to set up temporary pass codes for guest and lock and unlock my home remotely. It also looks stunning on the door.

Auto locks when you leave the house. Can have multiple codes, different codes for different people. Shows who unlocks the door, complete history of events. I have mine set to auto lock after 5 minutes. Can unlock from my phone when people show up. It’s awesome, just get it.

It’s a lock, so it’s an annoying install. Just be warned. But it is great once in! Everything functions quickly either by passcode or using Nest app. Great lock!

Nest door lock was easy to install, and set up was easy. I do have multiple Nest products wich made the switch pretty easy.

This is a great smart lock to integrate into your Google Home ecosystem. The only thing that would make it better would be to have a hard key in case of failures. Don't buy this if you don't have an alternate way to get into the house in case the unit fails. I haven't had any problems, but you don't want to risk it.

Relatively easy installation, with the exception of aligning the latch with the latch bracket. I end up using the original bracket on the door. After the installation, everything else was easy to complete and the software is intuitive and full functionality.

This is an easy to install secure smart lock. I really like how you can lock and unlock when you’re not home. So you don’t have to give any keys to anyone, or leave anything under a rock or a rug.

Put this in a couple years back and have been pleased ever since. I was so tired of replacing keys or locks from kids losing their house key. Now everyone has the code as well as the app to get in the house without having to throw rocks at a window late night to get in.

The lock works amazing and perfectly with my entire google nest system. I like that users can be set up to give different people their own individual codes, which in turn tracks who is in and out. Set up is quick and user friendly.

So far, so good. Looks nice. Works well. Wish it had a sensor that lets It automatically unlock when you are near your door. Like that you can provide access codes to family and friends. Hoping they add connectivity to tools like Amazon echo or google mini.

The app lets us know who goes using the lock and the ability to lock and unlock remotely is nice. It can be configured to lock automatically after a minute making it less of a worry if we may have forgotten to lock the door. We installed a Nest doorbell at the same time so they are kind of working together.

We love this lock! Best money we ever spent. We live in a townhouse style row house so it is a long way down from our bedroom if someone comes to the door. We also have the Nest Doorbell camera so we can see who is there, and let them in remotely if needed. Also love that for forgetful me, it automatically locks after 5 minutes. And it is awesome to just set up a special code for people that need to get in (cleaning lady, houseguest) without giving them permanent access to the house with an actual key. You can also set it up so they only have access on certain days of the week during certain hours. We have had this for more than a year and it was worth every penny. So amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

I thought this lock would be complcated to put in. It was way esier than i thought and works perfectly. My kids loving being able to loack the door with their voice command and i love being able to lock and unlock the door form my car when my hands are full.

I love my google lock, the only problem is you can not use voice commands with it. I purchased this one instead of the much cheaper non-google one in hope that it would be compatible with voice commands. Also, every now and then, it will loose the wi-fi and you have to reset it.

The overall look and feel of the device is great. But it has an apparently known issue with c7000 nighthawk modem wireless issues, it also has no IFTTT integration or echo integration for locking the door. The forethought of adding a 9 bolt power terminal to the exterior in case of battery failure is awesome. I want to really like it, but not being able to pair to wifi since I have a high end modem seems bad. I'm sure it's some form of addressing or packet issue since it completely corrupts the wifi and forces a reboot of the router to regain networking.

Works very good as advertised and easy to install. Once setup with internet and the app, you can manage passcodes and family members.
