    So overall 5-star review. Here is the hitch. Make sure you properly install this device in your door. There is a latch that slides towards the locking side and if not properly install the door will lock but on your Nest app it will say “Can’t Lock” the door. I have this problem and wanted to pass it forward.

    We updated our house to have several smart objects and this lock is one. Not used to only using the deadbolt but it is handy to have. The Nest customer service was great since we had some issues setting it up. The service rep spent a couple of hours on the phone with me and called the next day to continue the trouble shooting. All did get fixed and the lock is working perfectly.
