Perfect lock to go with my door! Beautiful!

Touch responses are very accurate! If you are not handy making holes on your door definitely get geek squad or an outside tech place this lock for you. Other than that very easy install.

In addition to the standard features (locking and unlocking from the app and google home), it also integrates well with the nest protect alarm by automatically disabling the alarm when we unlock the door.

The verdict is still out as to how long the batteries last. It requires 4 double A batteries which im not find of. If the last a reasonable about of time before needing to be replaced that will make it a great buy.

Once it is physically installed the setup is a breeze and it's easy to use. Price is a little steep but it's what you pay for elegant style and peace of mind. Much better looking than a lot of other keypads. NOTE: This comes with nest connect. (It has everything you need included in the box.)

Unable to speak to Nest rep, online chat only during Covid. Transferred around a few times. Ended up exchanging for a new unit so second install went quickly, about 5 minutes. Properly locks and unlocks now with code but haven’t been able to connect to app yet. Nest Reps still unavailable, don’t want to uninstall and purchase another one to find the same issue again so living with an expensive offline electronic deadbolt for the time being. We have the nest thermostat, security system and smoke detector. All of those work perfectly so we expected this lock to be the same high quality but sadly disappointed.

There may be a few things that are preventing you from setting up your Nest x Yale Lock with your Nest app. If you're willing to try, you may carry out some troubleshooting steps below:
- Please make sure your lock, Nest Connect, and Wi-Fi router aren't too far from each other to cause a disconnection. Nest Connect shouldn't be placed further than 50ft away from the lock.
- Check that Nest Connect isn't getting a weak signal from your Wi-Fi router. If there is network congestion, devices that have weak signals may drop first.

Just make sure you get best buy warranty with it cause I have got water in it from the humidity. And I have had to replace it close to two years.
