Very easy to install, great instructions if you're not particularly handy. Took about 30 minutes, 10 to remove old (janky) deadbolt, 10 to install this one, and 10 to do app/firmware/get comms and go through initial keypad programming. I've used my front door instead of my garage more in the last month than in the last 7 years combined. It is a little expensive but I do like the Nest integration so it is in one app with my various other Nest ecosystem modules.

Love this smart lock. Easy for kids to use to let themselves in. It pairs nicely with other nest doorbell camera.

Easy to install and set up, works flawlessly, really pleased. Easy useage, both key pad and Nest app. Anxious for further up dates that will allow activating lights indoor when unlocking after dark. Currently have connected through nest app. Otherwise could use ITTT, but would prefer to have it all under the NEST app.

I’ve had the lock for over a month now. It’s okay, but honestly I wish I would have purchased a biometric lock. Pros: It locks automatically, I don’t need a key anymore, I can allow temporary access to anyone, I can unlock the the door from my phone without getting up and going to the door. (I have a ring doorbell as well) Cons: The app is always offline, I had to have Best Buy come out and troubleshoot the lock because I couldn’t open it from my phone. There is no customer service, minimal instructions to troubleshoot on your own, it’s easy for a person standing behind you entering the house to see and remember your log in code if it’s short and if it’s long it takes too much time to unlock the door entering up to 8 digits. Overall the lock is alright when the app on my phone will connect with the lock. It’s easy and convenient. I will probably be putting this one on the back door and purchasing a biometric fingerprint lock for simplicity. If your not a big technical person then I wouldn’t recommend because when the network is down, (which happens during every thunderstorm) you will be lost and confused. Thankfully the lock will still work regardless if the network is down, but the convenience of using the app will be restricted until you can get the lock to connect to the app. It sucks

I never considered a keyless life but it is pretty nice. For guests and contractors this is super nice to have. It takes a bit to setup but once it is setup, and if you install it yourself it can be a bit tricky getting all 3 holes to line up (you'll understand when you do it), it is just so convenient. I'm not sure if it's worth $100 more than other Yale locks that effectively are the same in function because yes a normal Yale lock still works with Google but instead of setting up and using the Nest app, you'd use the Yale app.

Easy to set up. Easy to install. Easy to use. My 9 year old loves it. No longer does he have to struggle with the door. being as ble to unlock it from the app is too handy. Especially when your arms are full of bags. Only negative. It has limited google assistant features.

Perfect addition to the house. Very easy installation and is user friendly. East to hookup to our wireless system and to Nest. Easy to operate from your phone. I like the notifications on whose ID used to either lock or unlock the deadbolt. Well built.

Great purchase. I knew i wanted keyless entry and this thing is better than expected. You can set guests one time use pins or limit times in which codes works. Super easy to use, great functions

Since we had all nest products running we had to get the X to match with the Nest App, got the other Yale smart lock but wouldn't work with nest, it's a bit pricier and doesn't have the physical key but works like a champ and it was super easy to integrate and install

Started adding Nest and Google products to my home and came across this. Love the ability to lock and unlock my door from my phone as well as get notifications when the door has been opened. Works great in conjunction with the Nest doorbell. Very easy to install.

Easy installation, took me roughly 40mins. Connect to Nest and then Google Home. Works well and gives us ease of mind being tampering proof. It is expensive frankly but we wanted to sync our smart lock with Google Home seamlessly.

After having a terrible experience with August Smart Lock (the first smart home product that I bought), I decided to buy Nest Yale Lock because now I have several Nest/Google products and it has good reviews. The set up was easy. Everything needed for installation was there, I just needed a screw driver from my tools. Nest installation video is simple and easy to follow. The touch pad looks great and is very useful. It's nice to be able to lock by just one tap on the touch pad. You can unlock either through Nest App or Touch pad. Nest App is simple and easy to use. I like how quickly app can connect and lock/unlock unlike August Lock app which would take forever to connect. Also, I can use app from anywhere as long as I have internet either through cellular data or wifi. Overall, it's a good lock and I like it. I would recommend this lock especially if you have Nest/Google Products.

This is my second Yale smart lock. The first one still works perfectly. The batteries last about 8 months. I set up my Google Home/Assistant to automatically lock both locks at night and I can lock them through my phone if I'm away from home. Great, solid product.

I am so glad we purchased. Easy to install. No keys needed. Can unlock using your phone and the app - to let you child in, a neighbor, etc... The app is really easy too. We are in the process of purchasing the nest cameras and the doorbell too. Just hope it holds up and works in the Arizona heat. TBD

Very easy to install. I have all Google smart home ecosystem so it just made sense to get this one but it does seem a little expensive. I like all the options in the app and on the pad itself. Everything is fast and very responsive.

Love our new lock solution. We recently bought a new house and upgraded to this lock system. Was very easy to install, easy to set up and connect to the home app. Very easy to use and very useful for managing when you have guests coming and going. Great product!!

Straightforward install after realigng the strikeplate. If you've ever installed a door lock set this is no different, easy peasy. If you have not installed a lock before and/or have any reservations just get a locksmith to do it. I have a Nest thermostat so it was easy to get the connect device and lock activated and added on my account. Also very easy to generate entry codes to give my sons who live at home and to add my wife on the account. She never bothered to access the thermostat remotely so had not downloaded the android app but it was easy to add her on and get her access set up. Great product and no issues after a month of use. I've opened the door remotely for one of my sons who forgot his code and happened to have his phone die at work (which contained the email with the code). If you have 20 something males at home I can bet you will use the remote unlock feature at least once, assuming you're feeling generous enough to help out. If you have young adult sons at home you know exactly what I'm talking about....

Once we figured out installation (we needed to drill out a slightly larger hole for the deadbolt), the installation was pretty seamless. We already have Nest cams, so adding this to the app was easy. I like that the numbers fade and only become visible when you press the Yale logo.

Nest and Yale have hit a home run with this lock. Its a beautiful piece of hardware matched with Nest great software. Set up and install was painless and took me under 30 minutes. Easily connected to my Wi-Fi, Google home and nest app. Excellent quality and looks great.
