Easy to install and set up, works as advertised, and looks great on my door.

These locks are awesome! They can be finicky to install, but that is also a good thing. It confirms they’re locking as expected. I have one of these on each exterior door and they work great using the nest app and google home.

I had the previous model of the Yale lock tied into my security system. It worked ok, but there were connectivity issues between my security system and the door lock to the point whenever there were issues, the security system would disable to the touch pad. Very problematic if you're locked out of the house. I replaced it with this new model to compliment my other Nest devices. The singular app for multiple devices has been better than expected. Even without the other Next devices, the interface is very easy to use, set schedules and add users. In short, highly recommend, one thing to be careful of, when installing, be sure to tuck the connection wire as best as possible as it can get jammed in the lock preventing the lock from opening/closing otherwise.

Purchased this when moving in to our new home. The difficult choice was choosing a smart ecyostem (Nest, Amazon, etc.), but Nest won the battle for our home based on us owning a previous Nest camera which we used to watch our dog while away. The installation was painless and I did not have to do any changes on the wall for the locking mechanism to function properly. We love being able to see who enters (we have contracts working on a kitchen remodel which we could provide guest codes for) and being able to lock remotely. It uses batteries and I imagine it will not be an enjoyable experience when they need to be changed. I realize hard wiring is not an option, but I have had difficulty with a battery powered keypad before. In the event that does occur, you can use a 9V battery that you can place underneath the Nest lock and it will power it long enough for you to type in a code and enter. Love it so far and would recommend.

Well made, easy to install if you know what you are doing. The Yale + Nest Door lock is excellent. Works well, with Google home. I can remotely lock or unlock for guests or dog walkers. Love it!! Have had it for a month -- the battery is holding up well.

This lock has a very nice look. Works well and was a breeze to install. Only reason not a 5 star rating is that the Nest Connect that is required and also is included was defective. Could not get the Nest App to add the Nest Connect which makes the Lock unable to be controlled by the App. I was sent a new Nest Connect and all is well. I could be wrong but I get the feeling that the defective Nest Connect is a known problem and not that I was just unlucky. Just my feeling. I have not spent a ton of time trying to get all my google App/Products to be able to voice control the lock/unlock process. I have the Google WIFI, Google Nest Hub, Google Assistant and Google home so I should be able to do it. Sure I can but the setup is not straight forward and easily done which is disappointing. If you are all Google and Nest it should be as easy as telling the Apps/Hub I want to add the lock and control via voice and it should lead you through the process.

Connects with other Nest products easy. Love that you can assign different passcodes to different people and control people's access. Installation can be alittle tricky depending upon the condition of the pre-existing door but works great.

I just installed this smart lock this weekend. It is by far the best investment I have ever made. It is very convenient and easy to install. I would highly recommend this inconjunction with the nest hello.

I love nest products and this lock doesnt let me down, I love that it comes in 3 different finishes and the nickel finish matches my house perfect. Easy to install and even easier to use

I replaced this with the existing deadbolt. The existing one has smaller diameter so I also purchased a jig from homedepot (there are many but I got one from Ryobi) and watched a few youtube clips to how to enlarge an existing hole. Once jig is set, and I also created a round plug from scrap wood, the drilling was done in about 10 minutes. The remaining installation was breeze. Setup is standard Nest product -- easy. There was one step that was not very clear in the app, which is you have to setup the master lock code first then finish setup with the app. It's been a while but I like the aesthetic and functionality. There has been no signal lost or pingpong so far -- I have Nest WiFi covering the house. If you have inveted in Nest, this one is also a good one.

We purchased two of these Nest x Yale Smart Locks for our new home after we experienced a break-in. We LOVE being able to get push notifications every time the door is opened, with an alert of which person is opening the door (based on the code that was input). I love being able to see the daily log of entrances and exits -- it's been a godsend for our home renovation project, as we can allow contractors to enter without being home, and add/remove access immediately via the app. We delete contractors' codes after they no longer need access, and set working hours for each of their codes (i.e. between 8am and 6pm). Love the sense of security that we get from these. I love this product so much that I recommended this lock to my parents, who installed one at their house. A little pricey, but worth it for the security you get.

The install was easy. It comes with everything you need for functionality in the box. I like that you can set it to auto lock after a set time.

Not only is this secure, but it wasn't to difficult to install. I love how I can have different codes for people in my house (easier for others to remember certain codes) and then delete them and prevent access once my guests leave.

I wish I had bought this sooner. We replaced a Kwikset with a key-pad and a key system. The Nest Yale is reliable, easy install and to set up, simple communication with the App. I love that my son, wife, and self can each have our own access codes, and I can monitor my son’s history. I can provide a code to anyone I want, and I can remotely lock or unlock the door. Lights are easy to read in the dark. It is quiet and operates with efficient and smooth movement. As my wife says, “I am diggin’ it, and one of the best things I have purchased, up there with my Roomba vacuum.”. Note: I think my original door hole was improperly cut. I did have to expand the cut the door hole a little to the side of the original, but YouTube helped me with some good tricks there.

Got this when I moved to a new house. I purchased it when It was on sale. I would always forget the keys at home. Now I dont have to worry about it. Great Nest app and can open lock from anywhere for guests and kids!

I have 3 Nest/Yale locks installed on a rental property. For the most part, physical installation was easy with very little modification required to adapt the previous lock installation for the Nest locks. The only issues that I've had with the product is on the connection from the lock to the hub. On two of the three locks, the connection did not occur when the installation instructions were precisely followed, and the hubs were plugged in close to the locks. In order to achieve the connection, I had to reset the hub, AND reset the lock. The latter requires removing the two small screws that hold the inside-mounted electronics to the door, and then following the reset instructions that Nest provides. It's a frustrating process, and cumbersome to do once you think that you've finished the installation and then need to remove part of the lock again. For this reason, I've knocked a star off from my review.

Had it for almost a year and absolutely no problems and on the same set of batteries which is amazing. Schlage eats batteries but this is very economical easy to hook up and works as it should

Best automatic door lock in the game! I installed myself. And I don’t consider myself a “handy person”. So before paying for a install. Give it a try yourself. But yes. This lock looks and works great
